Naguales and Chamanes: split two

In recent days I received several emails about the page " Chamanismo and Nagualismo, the basic thing ", some people say to me that there is no as much difference, or that it is not certain that they are completely different. Two or three requested but details to me, asi that I am going to explain them a little but. Any other doubt or commentary, put in my EMail.

Before entering details, by principle of accounts chamanismo and nagualismo they are two different words, is to say the difference is until semantics. Chamán follows a search of religious/mystic character, the Nagual leaves of side everything what it is not practical.

A Nagual that speaks and speech stops being Nagual, a Nagual acts, but it is not Nagual. This is the only occasion in which I will explain trying " to rationalize ". They must feel it, must include/understand it. As by Internet it is impossible to teach with the example, I will make the exception

The notes that follow were taken during my learning between 1988 and 1990, the times that still were not Nagual.     Global perception of the Nature Chamán considers a friend, an ally, a mother The Nagual considers an enemy. Chamán tries to help it, and the Nagual to obtain its objectives before it wins to us.

    It could say many but things, because although there are similarities, chamanes are but similar to which Castaneda calls the old wizards. The Naguales is another thing. A Nagual is possible to try to understand to chamanes, but they are different worlds. Chamanes has their own way of life as well.

    Like the person whom it trained to me was a Nagual and not chamán, my knowledge on chamanes are indirect, and come mainly from three sources:

  • Classic and anthropological Literature on the subject, from " Chamanismo and the archaic techniques of the éxtasis ", of author who nonmemory, to " the golden branch " of Frazer and its derivatives.

  • Talks with a person to which I will call " Javier M. ", as I knew and part our talks are a history that you will find in History of some wizards.

  • The talks that arose with the Nagual that taught me (but or less what I commented before), after knowing Javier and to a healer of Jalisco.

    The division between chamanismo and Nagualismo is something real and abysmal, unfortunately most of the people considers that Nagualismo is only Carlos Castaneda. As I mentioned in another place, many years ago I saw myself without wanting it in a situation with circumstances outside the normal thing, and before giving account me, i was in this.

    I believe that there are too many people to whom it sounds to them pretty to be in the chamanismo or the Nagualismo, like those that leaves to the martial arts to the being white tape, and say to all that they know karate. An idea of martial arts comes to the mind:

    " black Tape is single a white tape that continues going to classes ".

    The people whom sincerely they love to enter certain subjects, are welcome if they pay the price (that never is monetary); it is decision of every one to choose if she is wanted to learn single to say " I am a warrior ", or if one looks for in serious. Types of teachers exist both.

    Nevertheless when speaking of the Nagualismo, Carlos Castaneda is a reference forced for good and badly, mentioning some points of the same one:

  • To be a Perfect warrior in perfect circumstances is to be a paper warrior.
  • In the Tonal one it is spoken and in in Nagual it is acted.
  • If we wished it, all we can have the shade that arises from the head, but most probable it is than nobody wishes it. That shade calls Nagual, and all that one that has it is, of course, the Nagual.

    On this the person said who taught to me
