In this occasion I will speak of an extremely significant subject, that during the life of the man it has been raised by many years, from the hero like archetype, but the hero who is hero without wanting to be it, the hero who has or nontraining, its human factor returns it the Champion, the one that guides the armies.

This history can be seen of two sides; but for practical aims, we will speak of the archetype of the " Eternal Champion ", not of the heroes of the humanity or the fiction, or the films.

They count the legend that any thing that we imagine is certain, in another plane. But in each plane the law and the chaos occur to the battles between, the life and the death, the good and badly. From the times of Zarathustra, knows that the fight between the opposites is obligatory, because a world where single exists the order and the good, it can be sterile, and a world where the chaos reigns is only destruction, and the creation without order cannot have love, nor justice.

According to the old traditions, the balance exists a called force, that is impossible to avoid, treats that never it gains by too much time side neither, because what makes advance to the world is that battle that never will finish. For reasons several, always exist certain factors in all the planes. That is a track of the order. And these factors can be objects or people. Those always present factors, are what maintains the balance, and are the agents of the law, although sometimes they must fight.

Imagine an army that tried to win the battles by the oration. That army, could not almost never win. For that reason the good must destroy and sometimes move away certain things.

The archetype of the Eternal Champion is extremely complex, reason why I will leave it in the end.

The balance. Since there am saying, it is that force that single treats that the balance remains, that is the balance in himself, but cannot act by itself, but through agents.

The Eternal Love. - it will be spoken ahead of him but. The Eternal love is the loved one of the Champion, who has the same form in all the planes, but different core. As well as the Champion is that that same core in all the planes has, but different form.

This is necessary, by something simple. The Eternal Champion fight to return next to his love, to the time of rest, and as well as he would be able to detect the core of loved his, nobody but he could do it. The Champion was born and lives for the battle, and the basic function of the " Eternal companion ", is to help him to recover to loved his, that he can find because always has the same form, but the core is different.

As well as the Eternal Champion is the agent of the balance, the Eternal Love is the agent of the Law and the order. It is the datum point so that the core of the Champion knows that it is the good, and that is the nobleman.

The core of the Eternal Love, is always simple, honest, and loyal. The Eternal love never lies, and it will always live. Although it dies in a plane, is only for being born in another one.

The armies of the light. Generally the Champion fights single. But sometimes, not even all their force and power are enough to face the forces of the chaos; or if the forces of the chaos have a leader, somebody is needed that neutralizes it; the armies of the light arise to fight next to the Champion, so that while it defeats to the symbol of the dark, they contain at night to the forces.

Only that it has the power to call to the armies is the Champion. Nobody but can do it; because that is its right and his to have.

But sometimes, when the Champion does not exist, or one has become the challenger (to see down but), the armies are there. The armies are not agents of the light, but of the balance, and this can send them to independent missions, separately. On them I have written with detail in the page the armies of the light

The trip between the planes the trip between the planes is something constant; he is something that all we know that it is possible, but for the aims that interest to us, the Eternal Love cannot change of plane, the Eternal companion changes voluntarily of plane, and the Eternal Champion cannot control it: It is taken to the place where he is needed to him, although wants to remain in another plane.

The Eternal companion Is a personage difficult to explain. Is that one that remembers the Champion as he is his to have (necessary once in a while, when the Champion has had to grasp the sword destroying something good to avoid the badly greater one), he is also the one that can find to the Eternal Love, because it already knows it. And while the Champion fights the battles of the humanity, the Eternal companion protects his rear. Usually he sacrifices his life by the Champion. Sometimes he is the hero, but generally, a companion in whom is single to trust; when the Champion this single one. Once the Eternal Love does not need to be protected (because it has died or it is out of danger), the Eternal companion happens to fight the battles of the Champion, with complete abandonment, without boldness nor value, because he knows that at the moment at which he dies, he will appear in another plane to help the Champion. He characterizes himself by always knowing who is he, and who is the Champion; thing that sometimes nor the same Champion knows.

The challenger By diverse circumstances, sometimes the Champion finishes the seriously wounded battle. Sometimes with mortal wounds. But in which one recovers, although no longer it can fight at the top of the armies of the light, does not lose his core, that as I said, are eternal. But in spite of having the core of a hero, it suddenly needs to wait for... because no longer he is the Champion. He is the one that in a future can again gain the right to be the same one, and while it does not defeat his own dark, and it does not happen to the battle, will be the challenger. At the moment at which it accepts his destiny, the wounds cure, the sword takes its place in its cover, and the ring or the jewel stops being a symbol, because when accepting its destiny, and overcoming its dark, becomes which again must be. The Champion.

The apprentice / the reserve In many occasions the Champion realizes that cannot fight certain battles single, and tries to connect itself with the only one that can help him. The Champion. But as it is possible? Trying to learn of the Champion of other planes, or teaching to the champions of other planes.

The important thing is that the Champion, knows that if dies in battle, will be for a moment. The balance will call it again, because its core is trained for the battle. And in another body, the hand will be closed next to the sword, and the Champion will rise to look for loved his, fighting in the way the battles of the humanity.

The sword is single a symbol. It is but that a weapon, is what it transmits to him to be able and allows him to act, which in the middle of the battle protects it, and it allows him to cause that the balance prevails. The sword has been mentioned of extremely beautiful way in the cycle of Elric, of Michael Moorcock; and in the King Arthur's legend.

The sword is Excalibur. The sword that single can grasp and remove from the rock the one that is destined for her, the nonconquer one.

The ring / the jewel Is another symbol, that is used sometimes so that the Champion can be made recognize or be recognized against his will; it is a jewel that is needed like external symbol that is he.

Who is he?

It is difficult to say it briefly. He is the hero tormented by the forces of the destiny, that instead of being next to the Eternal Love, is called to fight the battles of the law sometimes and those of the Chaos. He is that that arises when the balance loses the balance, is that that was born to be at the top of the Armies of the light, is that that is light surrounded in the dark, the one that fights by the forces of the balance.
