SHAPE MATTER
Cost: 2
Action: Standard
Range: Normal
Duration: Sustained
Saving Throw: Reflex
Optional: Fatigue
You can reshape inanimate matter into new forms as if it were clay. You can't change the composition of an object
(that requires the Transmute power, p. XX), but you can reshape it into any form you want. Stable shapes remain that
way after you've shaped them, while unstable ones (such as any shape formed out of liquid) collapse when you stop
sustaining the power. You can shape one five-foot cube of material per power rank but you can only reshape one object
or mass of matter (like a mass of water or rock) at once. You can only shape matter with hardness equal to or less than
your power rank.
If you attempt to shape an object worn or carried by another character, you must make a normal ranged attack roll
and the target gets a saving throw to resist the effect. The same is true if you try to reshape a non-living being capable
of making saves (like an intelligent robot or other construct).
Flaws
• LimitedLOne Type: You can only shape a particular kind of matter, like earth and stone, water, metal, and so forth.
