Split Card Rules For this variant each player must bring an additional stack of twenty cards with no duplicates. They are shuffled together and set somewhere between the players. At the beginning of every upkeep, flip up the top card of the center stack and remove the previous up card from the game. Every card in every player's hand is a split card - one half being the original, and the other half being the current up card from the center stack that you can cast. If the up card is a creature card, it is instead a sorcery that creates a token identical to the original creature and enchantments and artifacts would need extra copies of the card to represent them on the table. Note: an alternate way to play with would be to make one deck for all players to share that has all 5 colors in it. Deck

“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant. Before each game
begins, a player may, for any reason, reshuffle and redraw his hand,
drawing one less card. This may be repeated as often as the player
wishes, until he has no cards left in his hand. After the participant,
who plays first, mulligans as often as he likes, the decision of whether
to mulligan passes to the other player. Once a player passes the
opportunity to mulligan, that player may not change his mind. History This variant was created by Vasco Da Gama.
