Grand
Master
For this game you will need one
75-card tournament pack or its equivalent (45 cards and 30 land basic
lands) for each player playing. This variant can be played with 2, 4, 8,
16, 32 or 64 people.
Rules
- Each
player will open his tournament pack and then have 10 minutes make a
40-card minimum deck with the 75 cards.
- After
each player has constructed their deck, they will be paired up
randomly with another player. They will play a normal 2 out of 3
match. The winner of the game will take the losers cards and combine
them and make a new 40-card minimum deck.
- Repeat
this process until there is only one person left. That person gets
to keep all the cards.
Sideboard
Your
remaining cards are considered your sideboard. You may remove any card
from your deck and add any number of cards from your sideboard, as long
as your deck still meet the deck construction guide lines.
Mulligan
Rules
Standard
“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant.
Before
each game begins, a player may, for any reason, reshuffle and redraw his
hand, drawing one less card. This may be repeated as often as the player
wishes, until he has no cards left in his hand. After the participant,
who plays first, mulligans as often as he likes, the decision of whether
to mulligan passes to the other player. Once a player passes the
opportunity to mulligan, that player may not change his mind.
