Duplicate Limited Rules All players
will be given the same exact card stock from which to construct a deck.
This stock usually has the same number of cards from each of the 5
colors. Typically tournament organizers will include a few new cards or
have a theme when making the card stock. Some examples have been: only
1cc cards, changing the casting cost of spells, or a whole set. I have
included below some examples of card stocks that you can use. (note:
it will ask you for user name and password. Just hit cancel.)
Each player will construct a 40-card minimum deck. Each player should be given 6 land of each basic land and should be allowed to exchange 5 lands. Sideboard Your remaining cards are considered your sideboard. You may remove any card from your deck and add any number of cards from your sideboard, as long as your deck still meet the deck construction guide lines. At the end of your match you must return your deck to its original form. Example: After game one you decide to take 2 cards out of your deck and add 3 cards from your sideboard. At the end of the match you must return the two cards back into your deck and remove the 3 you added before you play your next opponent. Mulligan Rules Standard
“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant. Before
each game begins, a player may, for any reason, reshuffle and redraw his
hand, drawing one less card. This may be repeated as often as the player
wishes, until he has no cards left in his hand. After the participant, who
plays first, mulligans as often as he likes, the decision of whether to
mulligan passes to the other player. Once a player passes the opportunity
to mulligan, that player may not change his mind. |
