This small village is situated in the green area that is called the Apokoronas, about 3 kilometers south of Kalives and Almirida. It is reached via an eit leading from the coastal road that runs between these last two villages. Tsivaras is largely elongated along the way and another part of the village is built on and against a hill. Atop the hill is the fairly large village church. Besides the old buildings, there are quite a few new villas in the village. There is also a kafenion and a mini-market.
A small attraction in the village is the relatively new cave church, which is accessible via a path that leads from the main road along a field with vines and some houses. The route is well marked by arrows. On this spot where the small church stands nature is beautiful. Near the church is a spring where you can drink fresh water from a tap. The interior of the church does not contains special icons and frescoes, but it's nice to just go see it. A little bit further down the road, towards the village of Vamos, there is a large olive oil factory.
