Keramoti is a small traditional village in the west / southwest of the island of Crete, at 31 kilometer distance of Kissamos. Some visitors will pass it on their way from the town of Kissamos to the tourist attractions in the south of the island (the Chrisoskalistissa Monastery and the beach of Elafonisi). The village is surrounded by olive groves and fields with grapes (for wine). The road leading to Keramoti is very steep on some parts of it. Close to Keramoti is the beach of Livadia (there are more beaches with this name on the island). There are coves with pebbles and with sand and there are quite a few rocks in the sea. There are also high cliffs in the area. Livadia is famous for its sunsets.
