Apesokari is a small village on the way from Agii Deka to Lendas on the southcoast, underneath the Messara Plain. It is situated at an altitude of 150 meters.
Apesokari was the site of a Minoan cemetery and two ancient circular tombs have been excavated at the village. The first one was found by the Germans during World war II, the second one a little east of the first tomb was excavated at a later date.
