Meseleri is a lively little village. Various fruits such as grapes and pomegranates are grown along the streets. There is a school and there are kafenions and two tavernas. On the village square is the nice big St. John's church with a bell tower. A little bit more on the outskirts of the village, not far from this large church, stands the small Agios Georgios Church in which are ancient frescoes (unfortunately the church was closed but there was a window in the church through which you could still could see a bit of them).
