Krevatas is a small mountain village in the Dikti Mountains (south east Crete) on the road leading from Ierapetra westwards, close to Ano Vianos. It has great views of the valleys. In Krevatas you can also find a memorial for World War II. In this village it is still very quiet and there is almost no tourism. At a 15 to 30 minutes drive you can find some beautiful beaches like the beach of Mirtos or the beautiful beaches in and around the village of Tertsa.
The much larger village of Ano Vianos is closeby - at a ten minutes drive distance - and here you find all amenities like banks, a post office and all the shops you could want.
