Kavros Beach is the name of a piece of the very long beach that runs between the village of Georgioupoli and the tiny village of Petres which is situated
about 10 km east of it. It is located in the north of the island.
The whole area here has a long, wide sandy beach (sometimes with a few pebbles).
In the area of Kavros Beach there are some facilities (shops, taverns) but it is very quiet.
You can find shade under the tamarisk trees that surround the beach. During our visit the beach was completely deserted so it seems to me a suitable place for naturists.
