Keep in mind, I've never had to deal with this issue personally. I don't know exactly how one would react, nor do I claim to be the be-all end-all of human interaction. This made sense to me...it's not meant to offend. It was also written before the rape actually took place, so I'm aware it didn't end up playing out this way at all.
