Maggie felt so bad about speaking impatiently to Bianca earlier. She didn't mean to but really, Tim? Ew. He was so brash and loud.
"Oh hey there Mags. What luck to run into you like this. Or maybe the lucks yours. After all, I am a wanted guy."
Great, Maggie thought sarcastically. "Tim. Hi."
"What? No hugs and kisses for your favourite guy?" He held his arms out expectantly.
Irate at running into him, irked by his very manner. Maggie replied honestly. "My favourite guy is my cousin David. And if you're so wanted go look for someone doing the wanting because you're barking up the wrong tree here."
Tim's whole face fell. "But Maggie, what about the kiss? You know, what was that about?"
Maggie sighed. "Look, I don't want to hurt your feelings but that was just me being competitive and turning up the attitude I can have. It wasn't anything so please don't attach any meaning to it."
"But we've got it going on." Tim persisted, refusing to by a clue. "Even Bianca sees it. I know how charming the girls find me. Tell me what you don't like about the terrificness that is Tim."
Oh please. "For one ting Tim, you're a little young for my tastes."
"But I'm around the same age as Bianca and you hang out with her like, all the time!"
"It's not a question of age Tim..."
"But you just said-"
"...it's a question of maturity."
She watched as his shoulders lumped. "So it's like that huh?"
"Yeah it is. Sorry." Though truth be told, she wasn't really.
"Well, if you ever come to your senses. You better hurry before some other cutie snags me."
"I'll keep that in mind." She responded dryly, watching him go with relief. After all, she had somewhere she preferred to be.

It didn't take her long to get to the graveyard. The day was beautiful and if nothing else, maybe talking to the memory of a sister she barely knew, but felt increasingly akin to, would help clear her turbulent thoughts.
The sound of a very familiar voice stopped her in her tracks. She listened attentively. She felt ashamed but compelled to know what Bianca was saying to her sister.
"I know I only visit now once a week instead of everyday," Bianca said from where she kneeled by a headstone. "But I kind of figured we needed the break from each other. After all, you're busy in heaven probably starting all kinds of trouble." She couldn't stop the sad but gentle smile on her face. "I only wish I could see you sassing everyone. I miss you Frankie. All the time."
"I saw Maggie again today. She said some really sweet things to me and it hurt even though it felt good. So good just to hear those words from someone who matters. She's got your sweet talking ways, that's for sure. I think you'd like her a lot Frankie. It's just that, when she said that, it reminded me of what you once said to me. And her looking like you , it just brought it back you know? The missing you part. The part that keeps hurting. So her words hurt too. But I wouldn't want her to take them back. It made me feel...it made me feel in a way I haven't felt since you. You don't think less of me for that do you? I'll always be your girl Frankie."
"So what do I do? I try to push her onto Tim. She was mad at me for that I could tell. But I don't know why. Guess they don't get a long as well as I thought. I realized today that I was doing it for selfish reasons. If she started to see some guy than maybe I... I" Bianca broke off, tears forming in her eyes.
Maggie couldn't stay hiding a moment longer. "Than maybe what Bianca?" She said gently to the startled girl.
Bianca hurriedly rose from where she knelt and quickly dashed her tears with a hand. "Maggie! You scared me. What are you doing here?"
"The same as you it seems. I was coming to my sister for a little talk." She stepped closer to Bianca, feeling what she always felt near her. "You still didn't tell me what you were going to say."
"Just stuff to Frankie..." Bianca trailed off weakly.
"I heard what you said. I was eavesdropping, sorry. " She apologised sincerely. "I just want to know what you left out."
"It's nothing." Bianca almost whispered, staring at the ground.
Maggie shook her head sadly and stepped forward, taking Bianca's face in both her hands she raised those dark pools to meet her own gaze. "Tell me. You don't have to be scared."
Bianca lipped suddenly dry lips, all to conscious of the warmth of the touch on her face, the closeness of the face near hers. "I didn't mean for this to happen. There's a girl I care about."
Maggie didn't release her. "And that's bad?"
"I feel like I'm betraying my feelings for her."
"For Frankie?" Maggie's heart constricted. "That's crazy Bianca. She loved you. She would want you to be happy. I know it."
"But..." Bianca bit her lip, tears cascading down her cheeks.
"But what?" Maggie said in the softest voice Bianca's ever heard.
"But I don't want to lose another fired." Bianca answered, staring openly at Maggie.
Maggie's already thrumming heart froze, and then sped up double time. As if trying to catch up for time lost never having felt this way before.
"You won't lose me Bianca, you can't." She stared meaningfully at the woman so close to her. Than finally she did what she's wanted to do for so long now, she gave in to her heart.
She kissed the girl she loves.
Bianca froze, stunned at first at the velvety soft contact. Than with a passion she thought gone, she returned the kiss with an embrace and fervour of a woman starved. Maggie moaned low in her throat at the sudden ardent onslaught and met it with a need of her own as great and as deep.
When they broke apart, breathless and amazed, Bianca was the first to speak.
"You don't think it was wrong? You being Frankie's sister?"
She laughed. "No way, just jealous that she had the smarts to see it first, what you could give, what I could feel. Bianca, Ive never felt this way before."
"I didn't know what to do. You said you were straight, and being her sister...."
"Bianca, I know that now and again, I'll remind you of Frankie. And I'm cool with that. In fact, I'm honoured that I remind you of someone you love so much. And I want you to know that I would never want to take her place in your heart. But I also know you see me and like me for me. So, " Maggie took a deep breath. "Do you think that big heart of yours has room for me too?"
"Yes," Bianca cried. "Oh yes Maggie it does."
Maggie holds Bianca close, feeling watched over and blessed by her sister who helped bring them together. "Than, Bianca, " she looked directly into those soulful dark eyes and fell deeper than she ever imagined, it felt like flying...
"Can I be your girl?"
In answer, Bianca smiled, and the whole day brightened in response. She took Maggie's hand in her own and led her away from the past, walking towards their future.
