It all started when I came back to Pine Valley. I was
only coming back to visit my mom but while I was here
dad had a heart attack. Everyone decided I should move
back with mom. I love mom but I wasn't sure if that
was the best idea. Barbera & dad knew exactly who I
was. Sure, I fought with Barbera but she never
questioned me on my "decisions." I wasn't about to
cause a fuss so I moved back in with mom.
She couldn't
have been happier, but I was miserable. I had lost the
one thing that meant the most to me, that was my best
friend, my lover, Sarah and to top that I lost my dad.
He was the one who always believed in me even when I
didn't. He means the world to me. Always has & always
will. I didn't lose Sarah to death, though, luckily.
Leo & I become close friends. Then, Laura came along.
I fell head over heels for her but she wasn't only
straight, she was crushing on my best friend, Leo.
However, Leo loved Greenlee. How he could love someone
as cold as her, I'll never know. Then it happened,
Laura came to me for advice.
"Bianca, I have feelings
for someone but I don't know how to tell this person."
I replied with a simple, "I'm not sure you should,
Laura. He loves Greenlee."
She gave me a strange look.
"It's not Leo," she said.
It was my turn to give her the strange look, "If not Leo, then who?"
"Umm... that isn't of importance, right now. Promise me, no matter
what happens we will always be friends."
"Of course, Laura," I replied. Then she got up & left.
"Hey, where are you going?" I asked.
"To get to work on something."
"On what?"
"You'll see & thanks for everything."
"Thanks, for what? I didn't do anything,"
I replied. But she had already left.
I sat there for a
minute. "She's lost it," I thought out loud.
Two days
went by, then a man came to my door. "Flower delivery
for you," he said.
"They must be for my mom," I
replied.
"No. You are Miss. Bianca Montgomery, are you
not?"
"Yes, I am."
"Then these are for you," he said
handing me a dozen red roses.
I quickly grabbed the
card. The card said: "I love you like no other. This
is weird to me, I hope you know. But you have captured
my heart, so I hope you will love me too."
I searched
the card for a name but I couldn't find one. I sat
staring at the card when the doorbell rang. Still
holding the flowers & the card, I answered the door.
Laura was standing there with something behind her
back.
"What are you hiding?" I asked.
"Guess," she
replied.
"Umm.. I dunno. Just tell me."
She pulled her
hands out from behind her back & held out a journal.
"I know how you like to write so I got this for you,"
she said.
"Thanks, Laura," I replied giving her an
awkward hugging considering my hands were full.
"So
you like the roses?" she asked.
"Huh? Uh yeah, I am
trying to figure out who gave them to me," I replied.
She smiled. "The red ones were the prettiest they
had," she started.
"You mean," I began but she
continued on.
"I wasn't sure if you'd like them but I
was hopeful."
"I love them but the card says..."
"Too
much?" she interrupted, "I'm sorry. I didn't know
how..."
I interrupted her statement with a kiss. It
started out as a sweet, soft kiss but quickly became
more passionate as she held me close to her. By this
time I had dropped everything I was holding & wrapped
my arms around her.
When we pulled a part I whispered,
"I fell for you when I came back to Pine Valley &
there you were, so beautiful." She pulled me into
another kiss, so steamy, so hot, so perfect. That is
how my relationship with the love of my life began.
