According to the Facebook page for Brian De Palma's Passion, Wild Bunch plans to show a teaser for the film at its offices in Cannes during the film festival. The offices are located at 4 la Croisette. But the real exciting part of the new Facebook page is the set of six pictures posted yesterday, including the one above and the several below. These images are tantalizing, and anticipation for this film is only just ramping up...

These images look fantastic. My anticipation for this film is rising by the day and there's still a long way to go. The masked women image is particularly striking. If the images released so far are anything to go on then this looks set to be a sleek, highly stylised, very sexy thriller. I almost said return to form there but I'm fed up arguing that De Palma has never 'lost his form'.

My one worry - if the marketing for the film emphasises the erotic nature of the story too much it may harm its chances for major success with mainstream audiences. Early days yet though, time will tell.

Marilay, who's to say? It could be either of them, or it could be neither one of them... I mean, after all, Karoline Herfurth is also in this film.

The mask reminds me of that other psycho/sexual thriller EYES WIDE SHUT. PASSION is developing into the one film to look out for, especially when De Palma had compared his film to BASIC INSTINCT within the corporate world.

That mask photo gives me a film boner!  A far more captivating image than anything in 'Love Crime' & DePalma's last two films!

With that mask, BDP finally has his Carnical of Venice. Images are stunning. There will be tears.

The stills look absolutely beautiful, but the killer is a bit too Argento for me, black gloves and all...

I'd love to see a teaser trailer similar to Body Double, while it doesn't show any of the actual footage from the film but gives a good understanding what we're up for. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can't wait!

By the way, the photo with the mask looks like something out of a Pedro Almodovar film (The Skin I Live In especially), with De Palma using Pedro's cinematographer Jose Luis Alcaine, it makes sense.

It does have an Argento vibe with the black gloves but I'm glad it does because De Palma hasn't gone anything Argento like since 'Dressed to Kill'. So I'm all for it.

I notice there's a shower scene in one of the stills. So we're gonna get a museum scene, an elevator scene, AND a shower scene from De Palma? Yes!

These stills are great and I really cannot wait for this movie. Especially because it was shot in Berlin and I'm so excited to see how they worked with that and which locations we'll be able to see.

But I've another question, is there already any information out which role Paul Anderson is playing in this movie? His character isn't even named yet on the imdb page, so I was wondering if you might know something.

Hi, Lisa-- I think we can safely assume that since he is the top-billed male actor, he is playing the boyfriend of Rachel's character that she sort of pawns off onto Noomi's character.
