High-Stat Great Helm and Weapons Guide Updates
Yesterday evening, I found a Great Helm with base stats 41d/-4s while questing for CSB sets. According to the list of high-stat weapons that are posted on the Wizards & Warriors Forum, this is the highest Great Helm that has ever been found in the game. Here's a screenshot of it:
In other news, the following sections of the In-Depth Weapons Guide have been updated: Crystal Weapons, Mountains, Azteca, and Dragon Guard.

Coverage of Next DC Upgrade
Just like how I'd previously provided coverage for the April 2002 DC Upgrade during late 2001 and early 2002, I'll be providing coverage for the next DC upgrade that should take effect later this year. Unfortunately, it's been very difficult for me to gather information on the next upgrade because all the characters that I had in the test version have long been deleted.

Weapons List Updated
The Silver Weapons, Crystal Weapons, Mountains, Hie Brasil, Shangala, Castle, and Dragon Guard lists have been updated today. There's supposedly a rule that the base stat of a weapon can't be lower than 70% of the average base stats of that weapon, and although this rule seems to apply to a lot of weapons, it certainly doesn't apply to the Silver Titan Blade for some reason. The Silver Titan Blade's average base stat is 170a/40s, but I've made a 102a/24s one at the Dragon Guard and apparently someone else has as well.

Average Base Stats
The average base stats of all the weapons in the game have now been included in the In-Depth Weapons Guide. Average base stats are highlighted in a different color and you should quickly notice that for most of the weapons on the list, there are only 3 base stats that are lower than the average.

An Amazing Discovery
After looking at a few of the sections of the In-Depth Weapons Guide tonight, I've discovered that only 3 base stats below the average base stats of each weapon are possible. For instance, the average base stat of a Silver Gladius is +100a and there are only three base stats listed below it. I will make a few adjustments to the In-Depth Weapons Guide later today and also highlight the average base stats of each weapon.

I'm very happy to announce that I won't have to switch hosts after all. I just received a letter from Fred regarding the issue of displaying screenshots of the game on webpages with ads:
I'd like to thank Fred for taking the time to provide an answer to my question because I know that he's busy with the upcoming DC upgrade. Having been gone for such a long time, this was one policy that I didn't know about. I don't make any money from the ads that are displayed on this page, and if it were up to me, I wouldn't have the ads at all!
The DC Gallery and A Look at the Past sections have been reinstated, so feel free to check out those sections if you haven't done so already. And with that said, here's a screenshot of the high-stat Bill Hook that I found the other day:
Even though I won't have to switch hosts anymore, I still have plans to sign up for a different URL masking provider that doesn't generate intrusive ads.

High-Stat Bill Hook
I found a Bill Hook with base stats of 47a/14s while questing in the Vortex earlier today, and as far as I know, this is the most powerful Bill Hook that has ever been found in the game. I'll post a screenshot of it as soon as I switch hosts.

It's been brought to my attention today that the pop-up problem is a little more serious than I previously thought. One person from the DC forums has suggested that the pop-ups may contain adware/spyware, and I'd like to say that there is a way to avoid these types of ads. Because the domain of this website is currently being masked by cjb.net, the intrusive ads that are displayed on this page are from that host, not angelfire. Please click on the link above the news box to access the original page WITHOUT the cjb.net link masking.
With that said, it's almost certain that I'm going to switch hosts soon so that I won't have to mask the link anymore. I really hope that these ads aren't deterring people from visiting this website because I have absolutely no control over them.

Screenshots to be Removed
Upon request and with a very good reason, all screenshots of the game have been removed from the following pages: DC Gallery, A Look at the Past, and the In-Depth Dragon Guard Guide. However, this certainly doesn't mean that you'll never see these screenshots again; I just have to host the screenshots outside of angelfire so that ads won't display on those pages. Expect to see these sections again in a few days or so when I'm not as busy.
Creature portraits will also be removed from each page of this site out of respect for Fred Haslam; I will get to this in a few days. I've also sent an e-mail to Fred asking about the policy, which I certainly wasn't previously aware of since I've been away from the game for such a long time and it wasn't an issue back then.
At this time, I'm considering the possibility of moving all the contents of this site to a different host that doesn't have pop-up ads. There's no need to fret because the content that you're seeing on this website right now will remain exactly the same. To my understanding, I'm only allowed to display screenshots of the game as long as they're being hosted on pages that don't display ads of any sort. I've already found a host, but it'll take some time to move everything there.

A few new base stats have been added to the Crystal Weapons List today.
August 16, 2006
A column for the number of guts that an item heals when the Medic ability is in effect has been added to the Healing Guide section. The Silver Weapons list has been updated, and a base stat has been added for each of these weapons: Swift Boots, Giant Maul, and Mythril Mail.
August 14, 2006
A minor update has been made to the Scrolls Guide; I found out that Bless adds +1 defense to weapons with less than 20 base defense as long as it doesn't have 0 defense. Also, I found out that I had a Goblin Pick with Medic on one of my lesser character's storage, so I won't need to borrow a weapon with Medic anymore.
All of the screenshots for the In-Depth Dragon Guard Guide have been uploaded. One more base stat has been added for the Dwarf Axe and the Silver Weird Knife.
August 13, 2006
Does anyone have a rare weapon with Medic that I can borrow for one day? I'd like to expand the Healing Guide by including the amount of guts that an item heals when the Medic ability is in effect. If my memory serves me correctly, healing items used to be heal 20% more guts with Medic but this has probably changed.
A few more screenshots have been added to the In-Depth Dragon Guard Guide.

Weapons List Updated
Additional base stats have been added to weapons from the following sections: Crystal Weapons, Silver Weapons, Azteca, Castle Guards, Hie Brasil, and Mountains.

Selling Dwarf Axes
If any of you guys are interested in Dwarf Axes to complete your Noble Trophies missions, please bid on my lot of 50 Dwarf Axes at the Trading Post right now with upgrades. Much appreciated.

Weapons List Finished
I've finished adding commentary for each and every single weapon on the Weapons List, so be sure to check it out and tell me what you think. This will most likely be my last major update to this website for a while because there aren't a whole lot of other things about the game to write about. The In-Depth Creatures Guide is the only section of this site that hasn't been finished yet, but I'm trying to determine right now if I'll have enough bandwidth to support the guide. I also just realized that I never wrote a guide about ranking up characters, but I'll write about it someday.

Weapons List - Mostly Finished
Much of the In-Depth Weapons Guide has been finished by now, but I still have to add commentary for each and every single weapon. For those of you who still have the old Weapons List on your favorites list, feel free to keep it there because I'm not planning to remove the old pages. If you're the type of player who often manufactures Swift Boots at the Dragon Guard, please send in the base stats of the Swift Boots to me because I've only made a few pairs so far and can use all the help that I can get. Thanks everyone!
I've also updated the Trading Post Terms section.

Those of you who have been lucky enough to get your hands on a crystal weapon may want to hold on to it for a while. As soon as the next DC Upgrade is implemented, crystal weapons will increase your character's Wits when you equip them! :) The Silver Weapons List has been updated today and I'm going to try to have the In-Depth Weapons Guide up in a few days.
August 2, 2006
I've finally finished this help site. It took 9 days to update all of the sections and to write all of the new ones that you didn't see on the old site. There are only two sections of the site that aren't finished yet, The In-Depth Weapons Guide and the In-Depth Creatures Guide, the latter which probably won't be finished in time before classes start again. I hope that you guys and gals enjoy this site because I worked really hard on it. It was most certainly a lot to write in 9 days! :)

Today's Updates and Tomorrow's Release
Four old sections were updated today and three new sections were created. The updated sections include the Item Shops Guide, the Weapon Shops Guide, the Identifying Weapons tutorial, and the Rare Attributes Guide. The three new sections include "A Look at the Past," a guide that describes ways of preventing rust, and a list of all the items in the game. It took a while to upload all the pictures for "A Look at the Past," but it's definitely a section that's worth your time if you weren't playing Dragon Court before April 2002 and are curious about how things were like back then. You can expect this website to be (almost) finished by tomorrow evening.

Very Good Progress
Two sections, the Gems Tutorial and the Increasing Stats Guide, were updated today. A whopping five new sections were added to the site today, including the Scrolls Guide, the In-Depth Dragon Guard Guide, the Healing Guide, the Increasing Storage Space Guide, and the Increasing Backpack Space Guide. I might be able to finish updating this site by tomorrow evening.
July 30, 2006
Today, two sections have been updated and two new sections have been added to the site. The two updated sections are the Tips and Tricks section and the Questing Tips Guide, which took a couple hours to update. The two new sections are The Wheel Guy and Clan Leader Advice. Enjoy the updates and expect this website to be finished by Tuesday night or Wednesday.

Updates for Today
Once again, I updated three sections and added one new section. The sections that I updated today include the Healing Costs Chart, Finding Cheaters, and the Clans Tutorial. The new section is the DC Gallery, which is basically a section of the site where I'm displaying certain screenshots that I've taken in the game. Not counting the Weapons List, I'm about halfway done with this site. I may begin to work on as many as 8 sections soon to speed up the process. I'd be great if I can get all of this done in a few days.
July 28, 2006
Four New Updates
Again, I updated three different sections and added a new section. The updated sections include the Rental Cost Chart, Avoiding Scammers Guide, and the Quests with Quick Ability chart. I added a Thank You List to commemorate those who have helped this website in one way or another. At this rate, this website should be all up to date by next week with the exception of the Weapons List because that's going to take a really long time.
July 27, 2006
Today, three different sections have been updated: Game Bugs, the 11-30-2001 Bug Report, and Enchantment Levels. A new section about Reset Times has been added to the site.
July 26, 2006
Another Good Day
Three sections have been updated today: The 2.1 Billion Items Limit, the DC Mail Guide, and the Item Selling Prices list. I added a new section that has information about me and the history of this website.
July 25, 2006
I'm about 9% done with the new site. :) I updated three sections and created a new one. The updated sections include the "How to get Cookies" guide, the "Level Raising" guide, and "Top 24 Clans" page. I also added a new page for Trading Post terms. Many more updates will be done within the next week.

Site Updates Resume
For the next week or so, I'll be changing the infrastructure of this entire website. Some of the links up there no longer work because I'm in the process of moving the pages and reorganizing them. Expect the links to be up again next week. New site content will be here very soon. The menu on the right will merge with the left menu, and most of the links that are currently on the left menu are going to be removed from the site because they are no longer relevant.
July 22, 2006
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let all of you know that I've been playing Dragon Court again for the past two months or so and have accumulated enough knowledge to completely rewrite this entire website. Of course, I don't have the time to do this right now, but I'm planning to get it to within a month or so. I'm going to get rid of a few sections, but some of the older and outdated sections, such as How to Get Cookies, will be preserved for the purpose of showing newer players how this game was like 4 years ago.
I understand that many changes have been made. To name a few changes that have happened since the last time I've played, I've battled the monsters in Azteca with my original character (Sky Rider, who amazingly hasn't been claimed by the reaper) and realize that Crystal weapons have just been added to the game.
Do you have any suggestions for new sections? Send DCmail to my new main character: randomorange.
By the way, virtually all of the sections that you're reading on this site were written when I was in middle school. I'm going to have a fun time correcting all the grammar mistakes that I made back then...
