Nearly all of us have had technical problems with Dragon Court before, and if you happen to be having issues with the game right now, here are some possible solutions to those problems.
Game Doesn't Load
One of the most common issues with the game is that the applet fails to load. If you see a red X on the top left corner of the game screen, it's very likely that you're using an outdated version of Java. If you already have the most recent version of Java, try deleting your cache, clearing your cookies, and disabling a web accelerator if you happen to be using one. If this still doesn't work, be sure to make a post on the Bugs Forum and describe your problem along with what you've done to attempt to solve it.
AOL Problems
Dragon Court doesn't seem to load properly if you're using AOL's built-in browser. Be sure to use a different browser.
Can't Access Storage or Buy Rooms
This problem is often due to having a negative sum of marks; if the combined amount of marks in your backpack and storage exceeds 2.1 billion, your marks will become negative. Get rid of the marks in your backpack until the net sum of the marks falls below 2.1 billion, and you should be able to access your storage and buy rooms again.
Can't Mail Stuff
If you're trying to send mail to another player and the mailed items end up in your backpack when you log back in, it probably means that you aren't connected to the server.
Game Applet Freezes
If the game freezes while you're questing, it's very likely that the Spirit of Fortune failed to properly appear on the quest that she was supposed to appear in. Unfortunately, there is no fix for this problem at this time. It will happen at random times regardless of what browser you're using, but you can feel reasonably safe that the game will not freeze if the Spirit of Fortune has already made an appearance that day.
Game is Lagging
If there happens to be a flash ad on the top of the page, log out and refresh the page until you get a different ad. Also, make sure that you don't have any other applications running in the background that may be slowing down the game for you.
Lists Not Updating
If you log in with the same character more than once, the list won't refresh unless you looked at the list right before logging in again.
Loads too Slow
If it's taking longer than usual to load your character, it's possible that your character has too many items sitting in his or her mailbox. Retrieve some of these items and send them to other characters. Another possibility is that your connection is unusually slow.
Wheel of Fate Prize Problem
Wheel prizes won't transfer to your account if your selection doesn't match the prize.
DC Forums Issue: Blank Posts
Your posts will show up blank if you begin them with a space. Begin your posts with an actual letter.
