Day 17

We got up today and scored one last meal on my silver card over at the California Snack Bar. I got saimen, Dee got a chili cheese dog and we split an order of chicken katsu that comes with macaroni salad and white rice.

When we were finished eating it was back up to the room to finish packing and then to head out. The first stop was to 99¢ Only to reload on some supplies. Next was the effing bank to get some more money because of the ass pounding we have taken for the last 4 days.

Next up was a stop for gas and then finally CVS to get a few survival items in North Las Vegas then across the street to Aliante Casino. I booked this on a mail offer of 3 free nights with no extras.

We were able to check right in and were assigned room 3031. The room has a king bed, dresser, work desk, 32 inch flat screen TV, sitting area and a view of the pool and strip. The bathroom has a roll in shower, vanity area and toilet and has safety bars.

We got our stuff into the room and then hit the gym to work off some of these buffets and to get Dee some therapy.

After a good workout we got cleaned up and headed out to Suncoast to play a bit. They were running the play and eat promo today so we got some action in on my card and then finished up on Dee's. While we earned my points we played single line quarters. Dee hovered and broke even in her session and I got pounded for over 80 bucks.

To get some points on her card she played single line 8/5 bonus for dollars. It worked out well since she hit quad 4's to build back her credits and we cashed out with a $60 win here.

We got our vouchers and hit the buffet. I didn't realize it was so late or we would have used the slips at the cafe. The buffet here is good but it was late and food weren’t being replenished and things were getting old and dry. They were even pulling the desserts before a lot of people got any.

We played another session of quarter single line video poker. We were hovering for a while and I hit quad deuces and then later on hit quad 4's. My big hand for the session was the dreaded king high straight flush. Dee was getting battered and only hit one quad the whole time and lost while I cashed out with a $50 win. In total tonight we didn't hit many quads but lost under $100. Compared to the last few days, this is almost like a win.
