Day 19
Even though I got to bed somewhat early last night I slept pretty late considering. I took a shot this morning on the triple play machines and things were back and forth. I wasn’t hitting any quads and wasn’t getting the dealt winners. I dropped $100 pretty quickly. I tried one more $100 and switched to 5 play. I hit a few quads here and got dealt a quad. This kept me playing for a while but I eventually got beat here and cashed out down $100.
I headed out of the hotel to Henderson and I started off by dropping laundry off and then headed over to the Pinball Hall of Fame. If you haven’t yet figured it out I really like this place and have a good time here. I played here for a few hours and then went over to the Hard Rock to meet with Rich.
When I got to the Hard Rock the place was packed because of Rehab, their Sunday pool party. The casino was pretty empty though. I found Rich at the craps table and I bought in. This table was ice cold and we were getting our asses kicked. Then it turned around and was just choppy. A few decent rolls got me ahead a few hundred but we kept playing. I ended up really getting my ass kicked and dropped $1400. This wasn’t what I was hoping for even though I’m still up quite a bit for the trip.
For dinner I got a comp for Mr. Lucky’s and we both went and ate. Between the 2 of us this was a very expensive dinner. I had the chicken fried steak and that came with a small salad. The food and service were good and we left the Hard Rock and headed for rival Palms.
I played VP at the bar in the Palms. I couldn’t hit a thing tonight. I guess this just wasn’t my day for playing. My plan was to get back to the hotel early tonight and start packing my stuff up a little bit but that didn’t happen. We were hanging out at the bar and next thing I knew it was 1am. We were even talking to a hooker (she referred to herself as an escort) that wasn’t trying to pick us up. We finally left the Palms and I dropped Rich off at his place and came back here to Bally’s and finally got to bed around 3am.
