Day 14

Well after the late night I slept in pretty late. I finally got up at around noon. I started off with the quarter 5-play machines again. I was up and down here but I hit a lot of quads. I wasn’t dealt that many big hands but the smaller hands and the quads helped me play for about 2 hours and break even.

It was now time for a late lunch so I met Mike over at Paris for the buffet. I used a voucher from the Harrah’s promotion that I got last week. That was my last one and Mike used a $10 off coupon from the POV and used points to cover the rest. I though the food quality was pretty good here although the buffet isn’t as large as I expected it to be. They also have a lot of fancy foods compared to the buffets at Coast and Stations that I usually frequent. I thought for $25 it was a bit pricey considering I don’t eat seafood. They have king crab legs though so if you like them you can get good value.

After dinner we walked off the calories over to the Aladdin. This place is a mess and under construction to the Planet Hollywood theme. From here we went over to Bellagio and looked at the Conservatory and then hit the sports book and watched the Baseball all-star game. After the game was over I came back here to Caesars and played more VP. I was getting my ass kicked and dropped bill after bill.

I decided to go over to the Hard Rock and played craps. I got onto a dead game and was the only player. I wasn’t shooting well at all setting a point and going out right away. Then I had a hot roll and hit 8 points along with various other numbers. I made about $1500 on this roll. I was up and down for the next 2 hours until the table cooled off and colored up with a win of $1000.

I came back to Caesars and played more video poker. Since I just had a decent win I thought I’d try the half dollar triple plays. This didn’t work out very well. I wasn’t getting any dealt winners and very few quads. I did play for a while but dropped $500 here. VP wasn’t good to me tonight but the craps sure made up for it. I finally packed it in at about 3am.
