Day 6

Today I started by getting stamps in the Harrah’s promotion at Bally’s and Paris. Then I went over to Barbary Coast to redeem the ACG coupon for a free hot dog and a beer. This is all I was having for lunch because I have dinner plans with Rich and Dawn tonight at the Bally’s Steakhouse.

After getting back to Paris from the Barbary Coast I went out to the Pinball Hall of Fame out on Tropicana. This place is really cool with over 200 games to play ranging from the 50’s all of the way to some of the more modern games. I spent the entire afternoon here and Rich dropped of Dawn while he ran some errands. After being here for like 4 hours I took Dawn over to the Palms to meet back up with Rich. While here I swiped in their swipe and win promotion and I won $5 in free play that’s good tomorrow.

Shortly after this I left the Palms and came back to Paris to get ready for dinner. We have reservations for 7pm. This is the first time I’ve ever been to the Bally’s Steakhouse. It’s pretty pricey but not all that bad. The menu is ala Carte though, which I really hate. I ordered the 16oz. Prime rib and a baked potato. The food was excellent and the service was decent for a higher end restaurant. My meal came to $35 and I used some of the vouchers I got yesterday.

After dinner we all went over to the Palms. We grabbed a few seats at the Lounge Bar and played VP and drank until the wee hours of the morning. I was doing ok on VP early on hitting a bunch of quads right away but then the machine shut down and I couldn’t hit anything. I switched to half-dollar DDB hoping to catch a quick quad like I did at the Gold Coast the other night with no luck, and very little action dropping another $100. I switched back to quarters and dropped yet another $50. I gave up on VP for the rest of the night and just hung out. At about 3:30 we all left the Palms and I took a cab back up here to Paris.
