When I left the Pinball Hall of Fame I went over to my friend Anne’s house to help her with some computer issues. She’s beyond computer illiterate. She also picked up some McDonald’s for dinner. Ugh, I’m in Vegas and ate fast food twice in one day.

When I left Anne’s house I stopped off at the Silverton. I took a chance on a dollar 8/5-bonus machine. I got to play for a little while but couldn’t get a quad to save my life. I cashed out here down $200 and walked over to the craps table.

This table was choppy and people were hitting points but no other numbers. I dropped about $150 here and switched to the table next to it. This table stared out choppy but then got pretty good. One guy shot for about 20 minutes and was hitting point after point as well as my come bets. After being down $250 he turned things around and I cashed out of the table with $900 making me even for the entire day. What was almost a terrible night turned out pretty good.

It was now midnight so I went to the Sundance Café for a late night meal. I had a bowl of cream of vegetable soup and a grilled cheese with fries. Everything was good and they are running a special at Silverton for the month of July that you get a 20% discount at the restaurants when you pay with points.

I got back to the room around 1am and packed up some of my stuff for tomorrow’s move.
