Day 18

Well after getting a late start I this morning (afternoon) I hit the five plays again. I’m getting good play on these and having fun too. I didn’t get too much play time in and dropped $200 here. The standard lack of quads and dealt winners was the downfall.

Rich came over for lunch over at the diamond lounge here at Bally’s. They had the standard assortment of items and a few breakfast pastries.

We left Bally’s after lunch and went out to the Pinball Hall of Fame. Rich hadn’t been here yet and it was a good way to preserve bankroll. We played here for close to 3 hours. This place is really cool.

For dinner we went up to Fiesta Henderson to the Baja Beach Café. I went with my standard Feel Good Soup figuring it’ll be the last time I have it this trip. It as very good tonight with the chicken being moist instead of dry like it used to be and the broth was rich.

Richard had some free play to use at Fiesta so he ran that through and cashed out a nice little profit before we headed back to the strip area. He dropped me off at the Palms to pick up my car that I left there last night (this morning) and then we came back here to Bally’s to play video poker. I wasn’t having much luck but did hit aces for $100. This was about the only highlight for a while. I was up and down and in for $300. I got back up and was actually a head but at the end of the night it was all one. VP was NOT good to me today.

Rich left and I wandered around for a while eventually parking myself at a Rocky slot machine. This is a nickel game with 20 lines. I got some play out of my $20 and hit the bonus rounds a few times. I didn’t find the game very entertaining but did cash out with a 20-cent win!

I packed it in a little early tonight at 1am since I needed some rest after staying out all night last night.
