Azima's Purrfect Posy was born 1/8/08 to Sonny (Azima's Bright Victory) and Ellie Gantz. Barb obviously wanted more cats to look like Posy's sister from a prior litter, the fabulous Purrfect Blossom. Posy didn't disappoint! She is a fine-boned, very feminine, blue-eyed white little girl. Posy was well known to Sue because, as stated on Lord Byron's page, Sue, Karen Delmont, and Barb had shown her at a CFA show on May 24, 2008.  Posy and Lord Byron at CFA show. As for documentation, Posy's birth date, parents, and cameo brother littermate are listed in Barb's kitten log. The Cat Manager program contains her pedigree and particulars that Barb entered. Barb had already registered her with CFA, the processing date being 3/21/08, so she is listed on the CFA cattery reports. Sue's photos from the May show were forwarded in an email to Barb shortly after the show, so those photos were on both Barb's and Sue's computers. And some photos taken by Barb at home with Posy's brother further testify to her identity. Oh! It was poor little Posy who, at the tender age of about 3 weeks, was dressed in that shocking pink doll dress that Barb photographed and shared with friends. Lastly, Posy is also the lovely little girl sleeping on a light blue quilt in Animal Planet's Cats 101. As Barb's failing health became more of a concern, Barb, Karen, and Sue agreed that Karen was to give a home to Posy; we merely followed what Barb wished. It is a lovely coincidence that, since Karen was not even present for the filming of the Cats 101 show and it had not yet been shown on TV, that very quilt is one of the few things of Barb's that Karen asked for. On December 15, 2008, Sue delivered Classy Lady, Posy, and the quilt to Karen in Raleigh, North Carolina, while Karen attended a TICA show there. Karen now owns and shows Posy. So far, she is a grand champion in TICA and a champion in CFA. We look forward to seeing the Azima look in the beautiful babies she'll produce.
