If
3 days and 3 nights in the heart of earth
means 3 days and 3 nights in the grave (hell) wouldn’t
the 17th of the crucifixion week be a Sabbath? If
the 17th was a Sabbath , THEN counting backwards
to the Sabbath before that, would be on the 10th
day of the month. How could the 10th be a Sabbath
if that was the day the Lamb was to be put up and
He was riding into Jerusalem on an ass, causing
it to work on the Sabbath day when Ex. 23:12 says
not to work your ass on the Sabbath day? Wouldn’t
He be transgressing that law and be a sinner? If
not, what about the cutting of palm trees and buying
and selling in the temple (very busy on that day)?
What about Him healing a man on that same day and
they didn’t accuse Him not being of YHWH for
healing on the Sabbath day (if that were really
a Sabbath)? They said what a wonderful work. If
they wouldn’t even go anoint the body of a
loved one on the Sabbath day (17th) why all the
commotion and work on the 10th? Could it be possible
the 10th was not a Sabbath, and therefore, the 17th
was not either? Could there be another understanding
for the Heart of earth instead of it being the grave?
Especially when sheol or Hell (grave) is not mentioned
here, neither anything about a resurrection, but
preaching? “They repented at the preaching
of Jonah, but they was a greater than Jonah there
(preaching for 3 days and 3 nights).”
You
don’t even have to be spiritual to
see that heart of earth can't mean grave, only know
how to count and read Luke 22:1 “Now the feast
of unleavened bread draw nigh which is called Passover”
also John 19:14 “and it was the preparation
of the Passover (14th) he said behold your king”
(14th preparation for 15th Passover) John 12:12
says on the next day He came riding on an ass”
which the next day after the 9th would be the 10th.
See also Matt. 21:2-15 and Luke 19:35-45 where they
were buying and selling on the 10th. See also Mark
11:11-15 to prove they were buying and selling again
on the 11th also. He told them the same thing He
told the other crew on the 10th.
Bottom
line is: if your savior was in the grave
3 days and 3 nights he saw decay or corruption and
would have raised up on the 17th instead of 16th
when the first fruits were to be lifted up. See
Philo and Josephus which states the 16th was the
first fruits or wave offering. In other words if
your savior didn’t rise the 3rd day according
to the scripture 14, 15, 16, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
the morrow after the Sabbath (15th) then you are
worshipping a false savior, one who saw corruption.
