Ki-Adi-Mundi

Ki-Adi-Mundi came from the planet Cerea. His father gave him up to train as a Jedi in the hopes that a Cerean Jedi would be able to stop the raiders who attacked Cerean farmers. Ki-Adi-Mundi trained with Master Yoda for two decades then returned to Cerea and helped the farmers stop the raider's attacks. He had two wives and a daughter. The council allowed him to marry because of the Cereans low birth rate. As of the Battle of Naboo, he was the only Jedi Knight on the council. Everyone else was a Jedi Master. After the death of Master Micah Giiett, Ki-Adi-Mundi took his seat on the council. He had previously sat in on council discussions as well as taking the place of members who were on missions and unable to attend the meetings. On Tatooine, after the Battle of Naboo, he went to find the Jedi Sharad Hett. Hett had resurfaced as a Tusken Raider cheiftain and was later killed by Aurra Sing, a bounty hunter. Ki-Adi-Mundi could not stop Hett's death and afterward took Hett's son as his padawan learner. Ki-Adi-Mundi turned A'Sharad, Hett's son, over to the Dark Woman, one of Ki-Adi-Mundi's old teachers, to finish training. At the Battle of Geonosis Ki-Adi-Mundi was one of the few survivors.
