This will be our last update from Fuzhou. We leave tomorrow for Guangzhou. Today was again, very HOT. Steve and I took Lindsey for a walk around Lakeview Park early this morning...

Lakeview Park Fountain

It was so fun to be the "center of attention." We saw many elderly people out exercising... They were dancing and playing drums in the park. Everyone was nice and smiled at us, and we were definitely getting looked at! Lindsey was cute and smiling. The park is so pretty with lots of green trees and even a small temple. We walked to what looked like an amusement park of some kind. It was very hot by 10:00am so we headed back to the hotel. Walking into the air conditioned hotel is such a relief.

We had a relaxing day today. We went to the Fuzhou Museum with our guide, Katherine. She then checked our notary paperwork for accuracy and we went to dinner. I can finally use chop sticks (almost)!!

Lindsey took her second bath today. She liked it and got in and splashed around...

Taking a bath/My first mohawk!

She has figured out how to roll over in her crib and sit herself up. She now scoots on her bottom to get around. She is standing better.

I am learning to stand better

She will now let her legs dangle when we pick her up rather than hold them in the split position. She is very happy and has taken 4 bottles today for us, and she even tried some watermelon.

Lindsey would hit me
on the head and laugh!

We will update from Guangzhou on Saturday.
