We got up and spent a lazy day in the hotel room. Our only outing was the Fuzhou Museum. It was interesting. There were actually ancient people on display. No pictures taken of that.

At the Fuzhou Museum

We had to leave for the airport at 3:00pm as we had to stop at the police station on the way to pick up Lindsey's passport. That went very well. We were the first family there and all of our paperwork was in order. Lindsey was fussy on the way and we had to stop twice to make her bottles. Our guide, Katherine, and driver, Bob, were very nice about it. We hung out at the coffee shop and then boarded the plane for Guangzhou.

Lindsey did just fine on the plane... She had to touch everything and everyone. Her ears were not a problem that we noticed. She cried a bit during our landing but then fell asleep. It is going to be a LONG flight home!!!!! Thanks goodness she has a seat so she can sleep.

We arrived in Guangzhou at 8:20pm and so did the family we are traveling with! Our poor guide had to walk a total of 6km in order to round us up. We both landed at the same time at opposite ends of the very large Guangzhou airport!

and Shirley and Lillie Mei

We arrived at the White Swan to find that they did not have any of our names in the computer. It took about 45 minutes to check us in and fix that "little" issue . Once we got to our room it was so STINKY... It smelled like an ashtray. They insisted it was non-smoking but when I pointed to the ashtray on the table they moved us without any issue. We finally got to sleep about midnight. Our room is much smaller than in Fuzhou but it is a very beautiful hotel. Very expensive but we are having fun.
