It is amazing to me when I think that at 8:20am tomorrow we are boarding a plane to come home with Lindsey. I was telling Steve that sometimes I look at the crib and still think it is amazing she is ours.

We spent the day picking up some last minute souvenirs. We then met our guide and the family we are travelling with to take our red couch photos...

Then we were off to the U.S. Consulate to pick up Lindsey's passport with her visa. There were 55 families there and all took an oath that we promised to care for and love our children. It was quick and painless. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the building. We were able to bring in some snacks for Lindsey so the time went well. Lindsey has discovered she likes crackers!

It took us some time to get to the consulate due to the traffic. We left at 2:00pm and got back after 5:00pm. Lindsey again fought us today when taking her bottle. She ended up taking enough, but on her schedule not ours. She continues to be very happy most of the time. She was a bit fussy today we thought. She has started waving at everyone she sees. She still likes to smack people on the head if they get close enough, like in the elevator. She has learned what a stern "no" means! Bù means NO in Mandarin. She is aware of that word. We are speaking English to her and she seems to be picking it up. She is much more interested when we speak with her.

We went to dinner at Papa John's pizza tonight with our travel mates. Joel and Kerri have been so nice to us... They have adopted several times and have helped us out so much. We took a cab to the pizza place as it was close to the hotel. It is interesting in a cab with Lindsey on our laps. I am very excited to get her in a car seat... I wonder how she will react to it. Oh well, she has no choice in the matter.

Tomorrow we leave for home!!! We are excited to introduce Lindsey to the rest of our family and our friends.

Helping Daddy pack!

Thanks to all who have sent e-mails to us. We will keep in touch with the "We are Home" section of this site.
