Lindsey has been home with us just over a month and it seems like she has been here forever. She has been adapting so well. She is happy and loves to play.
and having a GREAT time! ![]() She is sleeping better and catching up well developmentally. Just this week she has discovered that she does indeed have a set of knees. She is starting to crawl and not just scoot with her legs in a split. She even was able to drink by herself out of a Nuby sippy cup!! She was so proud!!! She loves to feed herself now, too.
![]() We spent August 6th - August 10th in Portland, Oregon doing the doctor thing. Jesse saw his neurosurgeon and had his yearly MRI. He gets MRI's due to his older sister's history and her death. His scans were unchanged and he does not have to return for 2 years. That was VERY good news.

![]() Lindsey visited Shriner's Hospital for a consult about her cleft lip and palate. Surgery will be scheduled sometime in the next 8 weeks. That hospital was so nice. The nurses were friendly and the doctors were really nice. The plastic surgeon is a female who is Chinese. She was really great with Lindsey and even spent time speaking to her in Chinese. Lindsey was not too sure of what to think of that. The worst part of the visit was the photos that were taken of Lindsey's mouth. She did not like that at all!!! We also got to visit our adoption agency, ASIA, since it is located in Portland. That was a treat. I have included a few photos of her for everyone to see. One is of her at a local park in Washington where we stayed with my mom's good friend, Adelle.
