After the otter had been primed and sanded, it was time to paint it.
As stated earlier this will be a hi-viz arctic scheme of orange and
natural metal. Using the drawings I had as a guide, I painted theorange
on the fuselage and wing areas first. After waiting about a day or so,
I them carefully masked off the orange areas and sprayed on the SnJ
metalizer finish. After waiting an hour or so, I polished the finish with
the metal powder to a high sheen. This is a striking combination. After letting
everything dry a day or so. I masked off the area surounding the anti-glare
panel and exhausts and painted them a flat black.
