Right before I am about to fall asleep, sometimes I think about like... Walking along a curb on the side of a road, or walking by some stairs, and all of a sudden, I will think about tripping, and falling down, and then my body will jolt as soon as I "hit" the ground... Why is that?

That is called a Dreamlet.
I get those all the time.

*Tagging* possibly the BEST. P/C. POST. EVAR.

I think the reason that I've been waking up so early is because of lucid dreaming, then waking up, because each time I wake up, I wake up really excited, like I'm waiting for something, then I can't get back to sleep.

Then I think I had a lucid dream today during an afternoon nap, it involved me on a bus, and as I went by I could change the houses into anything. As I got off the bus, I woke up.

Very interesting, I think I'm going to try some of this stuff tonight.

Its hard for me because it doesnt seem like my dreams are real. It just seems like I am watching me inside the dream. Kinda like 3rd person.

I had a lucid dream last night. It wasn't much: I realized I was dreaming then I wanted to fly, but I only hovered 4 feet off the ground before waking up. Then the same night I had the dream ( I rememeber this, of course) that one of my eye was just white and a little pupil.

I'll do more lucid tonight.

Well it's been awhile for me. I do want to thank you Kuja for starting this post. I've done a lot mroe research into Lucid Dreaming and I started a dream journal and now I can remember many more dreams. I am actually really close to one dream a night, my goal before real lucid dreaming attempts, and I've now begun to do reality checks. Mainly clocks... which are good. I've so far had two lucid dreams i think. I would go look for my dream journal but I can remember them quite well. The first one was this:
I was in a classroom, and at the front of the classroom was a white marker board (think black board for markers) and a clock above it. A bunch of people were in the room. There were two doors out of the room. One of them was closed. The other one was special because we were having a lot of fun in the room and we somehow knew it would end if we went through the door. I looked up at the clock (and this is the weird part, before I had made a clock reality check routine), and I only looked at it once, it flashed red and then the schoolroom I was in dissappeared and I was in this purple haze. it was all around me. I moved in real slow motion. Also, there were a few people floating by me for one reaosn or another. I woke up after two seconds. I know it was lucid though because I realized I was dreaming and tried to spin around.
Sorry for length, but this is gonna be big... I am moving the second dream to a second post. Last thing i gotta say is about the jolts ppl are talking about, is that i ahve also experienced them.. but only once that i can remember. When i was about 7 I had a dream where I fell off a train into a lake and I woke up feeling like I was falling through water still. Not really a jolt, but it still worked.

Alright second dream: I started this dream at my dad's house. It's about twenty minutes away from my mom's house. I call my mom and tell her I'm coming home. At this point I am transported instantly to my house, while a "spirit" takes the car ride to my house with my dad. At my house I feel that the spirit me has been created and yet I also exist. I go from my house up a road to the top of a hill with my parents to go hunting soon thereafter. At the bottom of a hill about 10 meters away, I find spirit me, and then i kill him with a bow and arrow. I also feel this, which i cannot explain but I do. I then walk up another hill and suddenly find myself in one of my classrooms. There are two people there and I start kissing one of them. I suddenly think to myself, "This can't be real... I've gotta be dreaming..." I then looked at the clock on the wall by me, and I double-checked it, and the time had changed by about four hours. I then looked back at the girl i was kissing, and her face had turned into that of a demons. I realiezed I was dreaming and had the power to defeat it.

I've only had a lucid dream once. When I got myself to realize what was happening I thought... "I wonder if I could wake myself up, since I KNOW that I'm really asleep.." and then I did. That sucked. lol. Oh well, I still try sometimes..

Kuja, you said that though you may feel the sensation of ejaculating in a lucid dream, nothing would happen IRL. Well I can assure you for me this is not the case. The 3 times its happened ("it" being said sensation) something definitely was emitted by me. What are your thoughts on this? Note that I wasn't lucid in any ocassion (maybe borderline lucid but I certainly didn't guide the situation much). Thanks for your time, hope I didn't offend anybody.

I made those reality checks last night before going to bed and falling asleep, and after a very long time without remembering any dreams, I remembered most part of my dreams last night, it wasn't much lucid, but I kinda had the sensation of controlling myself in some parts.
Well I'll continue doing those reality checks, and since this was the first time, it may get better tomorrow:D thanks:)

A very interesting topic.

Every time I read something about dreams, I get really excited, but when I acutally dream I never remeber that stuff.

I remeber a dream I had last night. Let me explain it, and maybe you could tell how close it was to a lucid dream.

I was Scrooge MacDuck in the dream for some reason, and there were some other crazy guys with me as well (I can't remeber anything else, except that one of them was a wyvern).

There was some sort of holy quest were were doing. I had very little control of the dream at first.

Then, we got into some tough situation, we were on a sea or a lake or something, and I was about to drown. Then, I had this strange feeling: hey, I can drown all I want, if I die, I can always reload. When thinking about this now, while being awake, I get a strange feeling. Maybe I shouldn't play that much with the computer.

Anyways, I drowned, it felt pretty cool, and then I reloaded, and was back at the sea in a good-conditioned boat.

I don't remeber anything after that, but I definitely didn't wake up during the dream.

So that was what I had last night. I had "partial" control over it, although I never realized it was a dream.

Another thing is, I used to have a lot of nightmares when I was 12 or so. I remeber one very well.

There was this house, I was myself, it was a 1st person dream. There was a murderer following me, and where ever I ran, he was there. Then, I fled to the backyard, and he was there.

I turned around to go back in, and he was again in front of me.

He raised his knife, and then I realized it- it was just a dream. I forced my eyes open and woke up.

I've had this same effect a lot of times before as well, I get near to dying in a dream, then I realize it's just a dream, and force my eyes open.

And also, there's this one REALLY weird thing. There's this city in some of my dreams, it's no city that really exists or which I've been in, but I've been in it at least 4 times in my dreams. I often would have to go somewhere, but I always get lost/can't see anything/just fall to the ground and can't walk.

It's like "I know this place, I should go there if I want somewhere else", but then I never get "there". The city is always the same, and for a while I thought it was the capital, but then I realized it's not.

Anyone know what these "dream environments" and dreams somehow linked to each other mean? I've never had the same dream multiple times, but I've had similar dreams quite often. The city, and at least twice I've been in a luxury liner ship.

Sorry for a long post, but it'd be nice if someone could figure something out of those.

if you actually ejaculate in real life from a lucid dream not only have you broken my rule but you obviously are a pervert on one lvl or another. (not really an insult it refers to anyone that this happens too) I really think that you should just follow my rule but by my experiances unless you are perverted in one way or another that shouldn't happen..

BTW.. cool lucid dreams.

I think I had a lucid dream last night. I was in school. I think "damn, back from vacation" Then I realize "Wait it's like, the 30th, I still have a week or so before school. This should've been a tip off that it was a dream and I was suspecting it was, but I looked at some text and looked away. At first, It stayed the same, but then I looked and It had changed. The next thing I know I'm in my room Trying to fly. I try to hover, but all I could do was jump, and come back down not as fast, like, in bullet time.

The cool part was that, Since Christmas I've been too distracted w/my Presents to do my Journal and Reality checks. Well, Last night I had seen that milk helps. Well, before bed I drank a glass of milk and BOOM! Lucid dream. It might just be the placebo effect, but DAMN! I'm doin that from now on!
