Tag. Also, on the subject of sleepwalking, if
you try to fly in an LD using a Superman/Neo-type technique, will
your brain interpret it as walking? I ask this because I've had a
couple sleepwalking occasions before. Nothing serious, just falling
asleep in my second-floor bedroom and waking up on the living room
couch. Well, I guess I'll try to have a lucid dream tonight;
haven't taken it very seriously for the last couple months. I've
noticed that I tend to have a lot of dreams in which I'm visiting my
cousins who live about 400 miles away. Perhaps thinking it's a
holiday could be another LD sign? --- I should be a Legend on

I did all that stuff last night, then went to
bed and had very normal sleep.
But, I did fall asleep in
Spanish and have a lucid half dream... It was kind of freaky; I was
trying to stay awake in case we had to do something, but I couldn't,
and I had half sleep, but I could control myself. And, it was dim
and fuzzy for like 15 minutes after I had an initial minute of sleep
before. Anyway, I was kind of freaked out because I was jumping
around and stuff and I could hear all the noises in the class until
some fool next to me awoke me by shouting out that somebody was
cheating and using a Spanish-English dictionary. I guess it was good
that he did because we left half a minute later... --- Go to

The first time I had a lucid dream, it began out
as a dream that I could control, and it lasted for 9 months. Then,
during the last month I realized it was a dream, and was really
tired of it. So, I tried to run away, because I figured that there
was a boundary to my dream world. Well, I ran for an hour, and I
didn't find a boundary. I woke up after another month went by,
finally.
The second time, all I did was look for a car and a
Gollum/Smeagel-like creature in a 2 foot river.
here's my
question Has anyone ever tried what I did, when I tried to
run away from a dream? And has anyone ever succeeded getting past
the dream boundary, if it exists? --- a bajillion pikachus

I just thought about it and I realized that you
might be able to make a dream boundary if you are good at lucid
dreaming... Next time I have a lucid dream, I'm going to dedicate
all my time to finding one. I have long dreams, so I'll have
alot of time. If anyone else wants to try this, post your results
please. --- a bajillion pikachus came bursting through the

When I'm in lucid dreams, I feel as if I am
going REALLY slow. Like running away from something, or flying, it
all seems slow motion.
Also, once in a lucid dream, I
remember that I forgot something, and missed my school bus, MUCH as
an earlier poster stated. At this point I realized it was a dream,
because I was running SO SLOW trying to get to the bus. I was then
free to do whatever I wanted, and I think I walked up to my
girlfriend...who missed her bus also....

I seem to fall and stumble a lot in my
dreams.
Also, I'm not in a lot of my dreams. So, it's kind of

Wait, so is being lucid feel like real life,
because I've been able to control my dreams before, but it never
felt anything like real life, and my dreams usually never feel very
real. I veiw my dreams through a camera kind of, as in I'm looking
at myself from somewhere else usually. --- Proud member of the

Ok, of all people here, I make up the least
****. This is the honest to God truth for all you skeptics, I have
in fact had some 'lucid' experiences in some dreams. I had a dream
that i was sleeping (im not joking) but my mind was awake. Something
started to pull the sheets off and then pull the whole bed and i was
frankly telling my brain to wake up and i did (in the dream) and
then woke up into real life. Thats not all, my first 'lucid' dream
was when i was REALLY little, i had a dream i was walking into the
school gates and then thought to myself "hey im in a dream!" and i
woke up. lol, deathly serious! --- This is where I got beat

your imagination. And yes, you can cook and have sex at the same
time.

I once had a lucid dream where it was as though
I was a spectator in a Half-life game. I could fly around much in
the manner that you can in Half-life's spectator mode and I couldn't
fly past a certain part of the area I was in without it getting all
distorted and blurry.

Well, I'll share some of my INTERESTING dreams
here.
Dream One:
Me and a bunch of other friends were
in this class room. It looked like school, but it wasn't. It was
some place near downtown. Anyways, we were playing counter-strike on
the PC, but for some strange reason (nothing is ever strange in
dreams) we started to be IN the game. I was wearing combat gear and
had a gun. Anyways, we were shooting like hell and I remembered
killed 7-10 men.
Go me! Anyways, these "friends" of mine
where claiming that I was cheating because I was so good. Guess what
happened? It is hard to articulate, but I'll describe it as best as
I can. Now, I don't know in my dream if I was playing in "the
computer" (in the dream) or in the dream itself, but I found myself
shooting my friends with a pistol in their fore heads repeatly. They
didn't die, of course, but blood was oozing out. That was just a
dream, so I hoped I didn't offend anyone :P

YES, I just had my first lucid dream last night!
It kicked ass, too. I'm not quite sure what my dream was exactly
about before that, but I remember being with all of my friends in
front of my house, and then I (literally) said (and realized), "Holy
****, I'm dreaming!" Then I decided to take a nice flight around the
neighorhood. I hope I can have another one tonight. --- It's a
