I have never had a lucid dream. I only remember
fragments of my dreams in the morning. I have tried the dream
journal, which is supposed to increase the chances of lucidity. How
long does it take to have a lucid dream?

A couple years ago, I had A weird dream where me
and a couple friends and strangers were in a house. It was a huge
like 5 story house and was yellow. Oh yeah, there was also a 10 foot
tall ogre/gorrila thing. It was like a video game that had an
Unlimited continues code. It kept on killing us and we kept coming
back to life. It threw me out the highest window and I landed Into A
pile of wood splinters and logs. and thats all I can
remember.

watch 30-60 minutes of television immediately before going to bed.
That should clear the lucid dream excitement from your
soul.

I tried to fly last night... It didn't work. I
just jumped about 15 feet in the air and looked like a total dork...

You just got to believe that you can fly. Watch
dbz episodes and the matrix revolutions and otherf thigns in which
people engage in self propelled flight. Also sometimes blowing air
out of your mouth to make the sound of a proposion engine can
help.
For the person who didn't lucid dream don't worry about
it and I doubt the music would do anythign at all. Just keep at it
and try to really forget about the whole thing... lucid dreaming
probably will come naturally after just reading up on
it.

Here's my two cents on lucid
dreams:
NEVER, EVER try to fly when dreaming that you're in a
crowded movie theater. It's very embarassing to you and other
dreamgoers, especially if you start bouncing off the walls and
crashing into people like I did.

heh I remember when I had a lucid dream the
first time I remember my self getting chased by a crap load of
goblins and stuff.
So I run up these flight of stairs they
surround me and I jump like 3 storise down right before I hit the
floor I floated and I was like Woah. This isn't real. After that I
started flying around and spinning like superman and Did a few ki
blasts and just blew a ton of crap up before I woke up. One of the
best dreams I ever had and my first lucid one Although this one came
naturally.
one question though ever have those dreams or
sleeps where you can hear your self breathing and stuff but you
can't open your eyes I really hate those cuz then I end up eather
just falling back to sleep or almost suffocating my self because I
end up getting scared or something and just stop breathing.

Yesterday norning, Some pretty wierd stuff in
the vein of lucid dreaming happened. I had 2 lucid dreams, but I had
little control, It's almost like I dreamed I lucid dreamed, as
stupid as that sounds. I also was half asleep later in the morning
and I heard a drum beating almost like a heartbeat, but loud. I told
myself it was part of sleepparalysis. Does that sound like it was,
or I just dreamed of that, too?

Man I was close to having a lucid dream last
night. I remember falling from the sky and then I say to myself "I
must be dreaming...That means I can go lucid!" And then I wake up.

Love the topic. I have had lucid dreams and i
was so excited i started telling all my friends about it and they
looked at me like i was nuts!
I realized i was dreaming and i
was in a classroom. I got so excited i didnt know what to do. There
was this girl with glasses on, with her hand on her chin listening
to the teacher. So i got out of my seat ran up to her and just
socked her as hard as i could and her glasses went flying. The other
students looked at me like zombies.
You feel such an
overwhelming sensation of CONTROL.
I have never tried the
journals, but i may try that. I wish i could have a lucid dream
every night.
I was curious as to why it seems you can do
pretty much anything like flying etc. but when it comes to sexual
activity we seem to wake up?

Wow, I had a NICE dream last
night...
Anyway, part of it was really weird. I was driving,
and I was supposed to go straight at this one stoplight, but instead
I went left. I thought to myself "Oh hell no" and reset myself back
to the point where I could go straight. I didn't even realize I was
in a dream. I did later, when I realized things were too good to be
true. So I guess I was semi-lucid, because I could manipulate things
that happened to my advantage without realizing I was
dreaming. |
