When i'm on I usually check everything quite
often...
On another note I just reread my first post that
formed this topic and realized how crude and bad the grammer was
lol.... I think I wrote it in about 10 seconds.... if I revive this
when It gets to 500 i'll be sure to rewrite that in a more organized
fashion... lol..

ATTENTION ANNOUNCEMENT
(Reposting
Because It Is A New Page)
It has come to my attention that we
are nearing 500 posts!!! YAY!! Due to the fact that after we reach
500 posts this topic will finally die I have decided to create a new
forum for lucid dreaming discussion. It was originally going to be a
backup forum for P/C but due to the fact that things have improved
immensly i've made one of the forums there named lucid dreaming
discussion and have decided that is the best place to continue to
learn about lucid dreaming after this topic reaches 500. So check it
out and register and post if you like. It is good to note that even
though there is next to no activity there I will answer any and all
questions asked there.

Hey Kuja, you were right, no lucid dream, but I
think I came close. Very close. In my dream the surroundings were
very dull, and non-descript. By thought, though it seemed very
difficult and straining, my surroundings gradually changed to suit
my whim. After doing this, a creature attacked me, and we seemed to
follow a script I had control over, but felt no need to change. We
didn't once fly in the dream, but near the end it jumped at my
chest, mouth open and drooling as it flew, I was sure it would reach
me, and to my surprise, when I wished for some way for me to defeat
it then and there, my dream self (all, and I mean ALL my dreams are
in the 3rd person) did a Kamehameha blast, blowing the creatures
head off. Then I seemed to sort of black out.

Wow actually that is better than what I
expected. You had a lucid nightmare the most common kind of lucid
dream in which a nightmare is shaped around your fears of the
moment. This is the kind we most had as children. You, however,
concured the fear using traditional child wisdom. Its my dream and
I'll finish it how I like. This commonly handed out parental advice
for children with nightmares is actually the first step for a fully
functional lucid dream. When in that situation again be sure to say
to yourself it is a dream over and over... you'll find that
eventually it will get to the point where the second you realize you
are dreaming every detail that was in the dream in whihc you became
lucid will disappear. So if you plan to have fun then i'd practice
that meathod and get out of the dream world asap and into your
world. My world is a large city with skyscrapers in which I start in
an office building with a large window in front of me in which I
crash out of while flying.
If you plan on studying the cycles
of dreams it might be best to remain in your dream and practice
manipulating it as once you become regimented to fleeing your dream
it takes many months of dream exercise to remain in your dream,
lucid, without changing the environment. (A useful too in dream
interpretation and study of the subconsious mind.)

Lol, not without a sense of humor I see. Out of
curiosity, how long do you think (on average, best guess) it'll be
till I can transform. BTW, you were right, the excitement hasn't
worn off, I was just bored.

Well Kuja I gotta say congrats. This was the
first board I ever really got into and it's great we could have a
serious board in the mdist of all the crap I see every time I log
onto the P/C board. Always great to have something to go to and I
know I'm signing up for the other
board.

I probably will make a new page. However,
it is far easier to answer questions in a message forum format. The
new message board is far easier to organize and answer people
individually. Which is why I will probably try to move all
discussion there. However, if that fails I will make a new topic..
as a matter of fact I'll probably make a new one either

well I think I'm on the road to controling it, I
don't have full control yet but when I get to the lucid period I
control stuff basedcon how I feeling, and the dreams reaction is
based on that feeling, example lets say I'm in a dream were I'm
eatibg somethings and I wish that the food would never end well
guess what happens, lots and lots of food, and I've also found a way
to controle what my dream is about, when I was falling asleep last
night I thought I'd try this, when falling asleep think on one
memory or image and keep repaeting it over and over agin(I repeted
seence from all the LoTR's movies over and over, well It happened to
work I dreamed I was fighting at Pelonor feilds, I'm not sure if
thats a one time thing but, I'll try it agin to night(I think it
will be the Matrix)

When I was about 6, I remember having a lucid
dream. I was aware I was dreaming, but in the dream I was falling,
and very scared. I started to become scared even though I wasn't
falling down any more, I was falling up. I forced myself awake, and
now I wish I hadn't -_-

I'm getting closer too. I had a real Lucid Dream
last night. It was over too fast. I looked at a clock, looked away,
and looked back at it. The time had gone from (this wasn't a digital
clock) 5:30 to 6:31. And it thought I wouldn't notice. Heh. Anyhow,
I was like, "I was supposed to remember something, what was it," and
then I got up and saw the beginnings of my dream journal, and, BAM!
"It's a dream.... It's a dream!! Uhhhhhmm? Oh, right, I'z supposed
to spi-" And I woke up. darn. I think all my dreams are gonna start
in that huge nondescript white room, because this one did also.
Which I don't mind, because that makes it easier to imagine things,
rather than being in a huge busy city. (I'm not comparing it with
Kuja's, I'm just saying)

Lucid dreaming.. so that's what it's called. I
remember when I was very little I had a dream I lost my mother in
this big city.. and I was crying and then all of a sudden I looked
around and started screaming "Wake me up, wake me up! Please wake me
up!" then I finally woke up and I had been crying in real life too.
Then another time after I watched Casper I had a dream that a big
Casper balloon popped out from no where and I started screaming
"It's a dream it's a dream!" and I woke up. Didn't know you could
actually control those..
