If your looking for the most violent, hardcore,
most extreme matches in ECW, this is the tape you should get! This tape has
SOO many of the best extreme matches ECW has ever put on. To name a few are
three barbwire matches, a stairway to hell match, a weapons filled cage
match, a double tables match, and a scaffold match! This tape has it all!
There are WAY too many bumps to list, but if you email me(look in staff
section for mine) I'll gladly help you out. Reviewed by: Sycho Sid Review #2 Public Enemy vs Terry & Dory Funk (Barbed Wire Match) This match was a no rope barb wire match with the Funks taking on the Public Enemy. It was just a normal brawl, every once and a while someone would rub another guys face in the barb wire. Other then that it wasn't very good. The highlight was when the crowd started throwing chairs in the ring. Tommy Dreamer vs Sandman (I Quit Match) This was a pretty good brawl. Lots of differnt weapons were used. This is when Dreamer wore that stupid costume. Public Enemy vs Sabu & Taz (Double Tables) This match was real good. Lot of hard hitting action and table breaking fun. The Highlight was when Sabu put a table on top of the turn buckle and set up a table a few feet in front of the turnbuckle. Sabu then put one of the Public Enemy on the table. Chris Benoit ran in and got on top of the table on the turnbuckle with Sabu. He then powerbombed Sabu threw the table. Axl Rotten vs Ian Rotten Bad Breed Death Match) Blood bath. This two just killed each other with a barb bat and the wire. A lot of cuts and bleeding in this one. Is you like a weapon type match with a lot of blood then you will love this one. Sandman vs Cactus Jack (Barbed Wire Match) This was their first no rope barb wire match. This is not the ppv one. It was a nontitle match. It was pretty good barb wire match but doesn't stand up to the one that is on later in the tape. Public Enemy vs The Gangstas (Rage in the Cage) Brawling with weapons in a cage. There was some high spots from the top of the cage and table spots. Nothing really special. Sabu vs Rob Van Dam…Death Match This was a awesome match. Lots of action. Real long match to. Defintely worth seeing. Raven, Brian Lee, Steve Richards vs Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Terry Gordy (Rage in the Cage) Not that good. Sandman just laid in the ring the whole time while Raven beat him up. The best part was when Brain Lee and Dreamer were at the top of the cage. Then Brain Lee choked slam Tommy Dreamer through three tables. Tommy Dreamer vs Brian Lee (High Incident Scaffold match) Just a lot of brawling. But the bump at the end was worth it. Where Dreamer punched Lee off of the scaffold onto the tables below. Rob Van Dam & Bill Alfonso vs Tommy Dreamer & Beulah Extreme Mixed Tag Team Match Rob Vand Dam and Dreamer fought for a few minutes then they lefted. Bill Alfonso then fought Beulah. Bill Alfonso bleeded real bad. Not good. Terry Funk vs Sabu (Barbed Wire Match) Great barb wire match. Funk and Sabu attempt to kill each other in this one. Good brawling and good spots with the wire. At one point Sabu got huge cut on his arm. Sabu then wrapped it up with tape and continue the match! Funk in the end was wrapped bad in the barb wire. Sabu then put him through a table. Sabu wrapped himself in barb wire and put Funk through another table. Funk and Sabu were entwined in the barb wire and had to be help in the ring. Sabu got the pin and won the ECW Championship for the first time. Well derseved victory for Sabu. Sabu vs Sandman (Stairway to Hell Match) This is truly a extreme match. I mean the brawling and the aerial moves are great. Sandman takes a bump off a ladder threw two tables on the outside. Sandman latter get barb wire wrapped around his head. This is probably the best Sandman / Sabu match ever. Tommy Dreamer vs Justin Cedible (First Blood Match) I hate first blood matches cause the match end when the fun start. The match was still good, don't remember much about it. Sabu & Rob Van Dam vs The Eliminators (Tables & Ladders Match) Awesome match here. Good spots in it. Lots of high flying action.
This tape is a most. Especially for people who want to see the best extreme matches from ECW. This is in my opinion the best ECW tape to get if you have never seen ECW stuff. Reviewed by: William
