Great PPV full of suprises. This is the PPV where Taz's heavyweight championship rein finally comes to an end. The match was Scheduled to be Taz vs. Masato Tanaka until Mike awsome ( Gladiator in FMW ) makes an apperiance. The match becomes a 3 way Dance. Taz is eliminated after only a few minutes and it becomes another great Mike Awsome vs Masato Tanaka match. Most of the locker room comes out to watch the match. Mike awsome defeats Masato Tanaka in an unforgetable match up. Taz then raises Mike Awsomes hand up in victory and hands him the belt. Rob van dam was scheduled to compete against some Japanese jobber ( he didnt have a Japanese name though ). However, Balls mahoney beat the crap out of the jobber and went against RVD. This was another great matchup as RVD did his infamous flip into the croud onto Balls mahoney. RVD came out as the winner. I give this PPV a 4. It's kind of a strange PPV because all of the matches lead up to one another. Because people keep interfering matches keep changing.

Besides Heatwave 98', this was the best ECW PPV yet!
It had so many great matches! Just to name a few is Taijri vs. Guido vs.
Crazy, Sabu vs. Justin Credible in a bloodbath, the talked about three-way
between Taz, a debuting Mike Awesome, and Masato Tanaka, and a pretty good
Balls Mahoney vs. Rob Van Dam match. All in all, a fantastic PPV!
