I am Steven Murphy, creator of this site. For anyone who is unfamiliar with it this site is for the most part just things that I find either critically important or amusing. One of the main functions of this website will be informing people of my new religion "Murphology".

Murphology is essentially the belief in preparation for the Shitstorm which will undoubtedly destroy us all at one time or another. Or in other words the belief system made for those of us too pessimistic to believe in a higher purpose to life. Pessimism should not only be a way of life but a way of afterlife as well. Since no sane religion would want a bunch of whining assholes like us into their afterlife I started my own.

One thing that I would like to clear up before I go on any further I did not get the name of my religion from myself but rather from the most famous of all pessimists who also happens to be named Murphy.
