Bullitt East trailed 29-18 at halftime but rallied to defeat Sacred Heart 53-48.  Bullitt East shot 41.3% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 41% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.

5-7 8^th grade Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Courtney Pfister also scored 11 points.  Taylor Blain added 10 points.  Kylee Willis recorded six points and nine rebounds.

DaiJia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 20 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Gretchen Samsel and Ashley Johnson added nine and six points respectively.

Lafayette defeated Western Hills by a score of 53-31.  Lafayette shot 48.9% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on four of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 22.7% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Wolverines connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored two points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 18 points including three three point baskets.  Ashanti Thomas added 13 points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Sarah Cooley recorded nine points and 14 rebounds.

Stephine Sparkman led Western Hills with 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Taylor Slade added seven points and six rebounds.

East Jessamine scored 28 points off 22 Sayre turnovers in a 52-39 victory.  East Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Jaguars connected on six of nine free throws and pulled down 26 rebounds.  Sayre shot 40% from the field including zero of one from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 East Jessamine turnovers.

Emma Young led East Jessamine with 17 points, six assists, and four steals.  Sarah Rainwater added 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Gabby Bowie led Sayre with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Bowie was 12 of 19 from the field and three of five from the free throw line.  Hadyn White added six points and Molly Manella recorded four points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Sayre shot a sizzling 59.6% from the field in a 73-53 victory over Western Hills.  Sayre was three  of eight from the three point line and held a 48-18 advantage on points in the paint.  The Spartans connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 38.8% from the field including six of 20  from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 17 Sayre turnovers.

Ray Brewer led Sayre with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Brewer was 12 of 18 from the field and eight of nine free throws.  6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders added 16 points and six assists.  Quinn Pergande chipped in with 10 points.  Ben Davis recorded eight points and six rebounds.

Kevin Booth led Western hills with 12 points and seven rebounds.  Will Davis added 11 points and six rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Kory Waller chipped in with 10 points.  5-10 Sr. Jordan White and ZhaVaughn Reed added nine and eight points respectively.

Wayne County led 36-19 early in the third quarter but Lexington Catholic went on a 19-0 run to take a 38-36 lead on their way to a 62-59 victory over an undersized but talented Cardinal team.  Wayne County had one last possession to tie but could not get open for a good shot at the basket.  Lexington Catholic shot 46.3% from the field including four of 20 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 36.1% from the field including 11 of 31 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

6-5 So. Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 15 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Jack Whitman added 12 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  6-3 So. Reese Ryan also scored 12 points and five rebounds.  5-10 So. Michael Talbott provided a spark tonight with his slashing drives to the basket and added 10 points.

Corey Stearns led Wayne County with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Peyton Woods added 13 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Trey Blevins chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets and dished out five assists.  Dagan Shelton recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Caroline Lynch, 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood, and 5-4 So. Bailey Browning.

Scott defeated Lexington Catholic tonight by a score of 49-46 in a game that had more twists and turns than a mystery novel.  Scott got out of the gate fast and led Lexington Catholic 20-14 at the end of the first quarter.  Lexington Catholic rallied to take a 30-26 lead at halftime.  Lexington Catholic continued to build on their lead to take a 46-32 lead on a field goal by Caroline Lynch with 6:48 left in the game.  Lexington Catholic then went stone cold from the field and Scott finished the game on a 17-0 run to earn the victory.  The Lady Eagles finally took the lead at 48-46 on field goal by Holly Kallmeyer with 1:05 left in the game.

Scott shot 50% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 28.6% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 28 Scott turnovers.  Lexington Catholic attempted 20 more shots (56-36) from the field than Scott.

Alexis Stapleton led Scott with 11 points and six rebounds.  Allyson Niece added 10 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.  Jill Buntin chipped in with seven points.  5-8 Fr. Holly Kallmeyer recorded six points and five rebounds.

5-5 Jr. Suzanne Miller led Lexington Catholic with 16 points.  Miller was six of eight from the field including two of two from beyond the arc, and two of two from the free throw line.  Octavia Wilson added 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-8 Fr. Lexington Christian Academy defeated Western Hills by a score of 83-73.  LCA shot 52.7% from the field including eight of 19 from the free throw line.  The Eagles connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot  51.9% from the field including seven of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverlines connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 28 points.  Rose was nine of 13 field goals including two of three from beyond the arc, and eight of 14 free throws.  Tyler Harville added 23 points including five three point baskets and eight assists.  6-4 Sr. Jon Lannertone recorded 14 points on seven of eight field goals and pulled down six rebounds.  Drew Schacht also dished out six assists.

Kevin Booth and 6-2 Jr. ZhaVaughn Reed led Western Hills with 12 points each.  Will Davis and Jordan White each recorded 10 points.  6-3 Jr. Andrew Zing chipped in with eight points, four assists, and three steals.  Justin Frost added six points and eight assists.

Henry Clay raced out to a 20-8 lead early in the second quarter but had to hit their free throws in the final minute of the game to escape with a 66-58 victory.  Simon Kenton launched a comeback on the strength of 10 three point baskets in the game.  Henry Clay was hampered tonight with the early departure of star point guard Christen Cunningham who left the game early with an ankle injury.

Henry Clay shot 47.6% from the field including zero of five from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 26 of 33 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Simon Kenton turnovers.  Henry Clay held a 32-8 advantage in points in the paint. Simon Kenton shot 39.6% from the field including 10 of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Pioneers connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.  Simon Kenton held a 30-0 advantage in three point points.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 21 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Green added 19 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 So. Jeremiah Tisdale chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.  Darien Tichenor also scored 10 points and 6-5 Sr. Gerrard Newby pulled down six rebounds.
