Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Sarah Bridenbaugh countered with 5-10 Sr. LaKeena Parks, 5-8 Sr. Lexus Edwards, 6-2 Jr. Brooke Todd, 5-4 Jr. Shakeema Jackson, and 5-4 Sr. Jordin Fender.

Paul L. Dunbar advanced in the tournament with a 78-63 victory over Tates Creek tonight.  Dunbar led 33-22 at halftime but  Tates Creek rallied to pull within four; 37-33.  Dunbar’s LaKeena Parks went to work in the paint scoring 12 points in the quarter to give Dunbar a little breathing room.  Dunbar shot 43.4% from the field including one of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 37.1% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Dunbar turnovers.

LaKeena Parks led Dunbar with 24 points and eight rebounds.  Lexus Edwards added 20 points and six rebounds.  Brooke Todd recorded 15 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Jordin Fender chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 22 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Oney Harrison added 21 points and six rebounds.  Dominique Etling-Turner chipped in with 13 points and five rebounds.  Lexi Whaley pulled down six rebounds and dished out six assists.

Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Ian Davis, 6-1 Sr. Vincent Mattox, 6-5 So. Jordan Fucci, 5-11 So. Desmond Duke, and 5-11 Sr. Landon Love.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-3 So. Benton Nighbert, 6-5 Jr. Michael Young, 5-9 So. Drew Schacht, and 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville.

Lexington Christian Academy, led by senior guard Tyler Harville made the plays down the stretch to earn a 53-49 decision over Tates Creek.  LCA shot 52.9% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored three points off six Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 40.4% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight LCA turnovers.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 21 points including four three point baskets.  Matt Rose added 12 points and eight rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Jon Lannertone and 6-0 Jr. Cody Kalinowski each recorded eight points.

Vincent Mattox led Tates Creek with 20 points.  Desmond Duke added 10 points.  Jordan Fucci recorded nine points and nine rebounds.

Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Rachel Blake, 5-8 Sr. Octavia Wilson, 5-9 So. Caroline Lynch, 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood, and 5-4 So. Bailey Browning.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Jason Seamands countered with 6-0 So. Savannah Compton, 5-7 Sr. Kristin Rinehart, 6-1 Jr. Holly Huellemeier, 5-4 8th grade Carah Burdette, and 5-7 Jr. Katelin Bundy.

Lexington Christian Academy attempted to slow down the tempo of the game but could not find the basket shooting 7.14% (1-14) from the field in the first half as they trailed 14-5 at halftime.  Lexington Catholic won the game by a score of 33-21.  Lexington Catholic shot 34.5% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 10 from the free throw line, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 14.3% (5-35) from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off five Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 17 points including three three point baskets, and seven rebounds.  5-5 Jr. Suzanne Miller and Caroline Lynch added six points each.  Rachel Blake pulled down six rebounds.

Kristin Rinehart led Lexington Christian Academy with eight points.  Savannah Compton added three points and nine rebounds.

Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Quinn Pergande, 6-1 Jr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Sr. Ray Brewer, 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis, and 6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-5 Sr. Darien Tichenor, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 So. Jeremiah Tisdale.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre by a score of 58-35.  Henry Clay shot 38.1% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on seven of 19 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 30 Sayre turnovers.  Henry Clay attempted 24 more shots (63-39) from the field than Sayre.  Sayre shot 33.3% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 17 points.  Darien Tichenor added eight points and nine rebounds.  Teddy Ware also scored eight points including two three point baskets.  Jeremiah Tisdale recorded five points, seven rebounds, and seven steals.  Jordan Green dished out seven assists.

Ray Brewer led Sayre with 24 points and eight rebounds.  Justin Sanders added nine points and 11 rebounds.

Gabby Bowie, 5-6 Jr. Hadyn White, and 5-8 Jr. Molly Manella.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-7 Fr. Danielle DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.

Scott County scored 33 points off 27 Sayre turnovers in a 75-50 victory.  Scott County shot 37.3% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 19 of 31 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and attempted 25 more shots (67-42) from the field than Sayre.  Sayre shot 38.1% from the field including one of one from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Scott County turnovers.

Laura Szorenyi led a balance Scott County attack with 18 points and six assists.  Bailey Hawkins added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Tereka Guyn recorded 15 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals.  Danielle DeFoor also recorded 15 points.  Iman Guy added six points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Molly Manella led Sayre with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  Gabby Bowie added 14 points, 12 rebounds, and eight blocked shots.

Burgin coach Brian Kirk started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Nick Beckerson, 5-9 So. John Price, 6-6 Sr. Alex Beckerson, 5-3 Fr. Tommy Lopresto, and 5-9 Jr. Mason Myres.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.

The score was tied 30-30 at halftime but West Jessamine pulled away in the second half to defeat Burgin by a score of 84-60.  Turnovers were Burgin’s downfall as West Jessamine scored 34 points off 33 Burgin turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 43.1% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and attempted 28 more shots (72-44) from the field than Burgin.  Burgin shot 50% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 West Jessamine turnovers.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 27 points and seven steals.  Daulton Peters added 23 points and five steals.  Will Henderson recorded 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, and six steals.

Nick Beckerson led Burgin with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Beckerson was eight of nine from the field and two of three from the free throw line.  John Price added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Alex Beckerson recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds.  Mason Myres chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists.

Western Hills coach Steven Wooldridge started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Diesel Reed, 6-1 Sr. Will Davis, 6-3 Jr. Andrew Zing, 5-10 Sr. Justin Frost, and 6-0 Sr. Kevin Booth.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-0 Sr. Jalin Raglin, 5-11 Jr. Eli Boggess, 6-5 Sr. Chase Henderlight, 5-7 Sr. Thomas Hickman, and 5-10 Sr. Kyle Howell.

Woodford County led 42-34 after three quarters and held on down the stretch to earn a 59-56 victory over Western Hills.  Western Hills led 26-25 at halftime but Woodford County outscored Western Hills 17-8 in the third quarter to regain the lead.  The score was tied three times and there were 17 lead changes in the game.  Woodford County shot 42.6% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 16 of 29 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 35.6% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Woodford County turnovers.

Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 23 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  5-7 Sr. George Cole added 10 points.  6-3 Sr. Curtis Ham chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.  Jalin Raglin recorded six points and seven rebounds. 

Kevin Booth led Western Hills with 23 points including nine of 13 free throws and five steals.  5-11 Sr. Robby Fox and Justin Frost added nine and eight points respectively.  Diesel Reed recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Clay County defeated Middlesboro by a score of 71-41.  Clay County was 26 of 45 from 2-pt range and four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.  Middlesboro was 12 of 29 from 2-pt range and three of 12 from beyond the arc.  They connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and committed 14 turnovers.

5-11 Sr. Cheyenne Madden led Clay County with 31 points.  Morgan Chesnut added 13 points and eight rebounds.

5-4 Fr. Bailey Hensley led Middlesboro with 13 points.  5-11 7th grade Blair Green added 12 points.

Pulaski County led 57-43 after three quarters but had to survive a McCreary Central rally to escape with a 65-63 road victory.  Pulaski County shot 47.9% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Maroons connected on 14 of 26 free throws. And pulled down 34 rebounds.  McCreary Central shot 36.4% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on 17 of 26 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.

5-6 Sr. Brittany Warren led Pulaski County with 23 points.  5-5 Sr. Haley Warren added 20 points.  5-11 So. Eulah Perkins recorded nine points and nine rebounds.

5-8 Sr. Candance Foster led McCreary Central with 22 points.  5-7 Fr. Kaylee Cotton added 20 points and 15 rebounds.  5-3 So. Cierra Terry chipped in with nine points.

Quin Richardson led Scott County with 31 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, and six assists.  6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert added 16 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Jalen Haddix chipped in with 13 points.

Mike Smith and William Gary each recorded 15 points for Dunbar.  Donnie Lewis added 10 points including two three point baskets.  E.J. Floreal chipped in with nine points and 10 rebounds.  Taylor King pulled down seven rebounds.
