Lexington Catholic led 48-47 after three quarters and outscored Tates Creek 22-9 in the final quarter to earn a 70-56 victory.  There were five ties and 11 lead changes in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 40% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 27 of 33 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.  Lexington Catholic held a 25-2 advantage in bench scoring.  Tates Creek shot 42.1% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

5-8 Sr. Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Bailey Browning added 16 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Caroline Lynch chipped in with 13 points including nine of 10 free throws. 

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Oney Harrison added 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Lexi Whaley recorded eight points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Mercy Academy raced out to a 30-3 lead after the first quarter in a 69-18 victory over Fern Creek.  Mercy Academy’s starter minutes played ranged from 5:15 to 7:14 minutes tonight.  Mercy shot 42.8% from the field including four of 22 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 30 Fern Creek turnovers.  Mercy attempted 36 more shots (63-27) from the field than Fern Creek.  Fern Creek shot 29.6% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on one of seven free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Mercy turnovers.

Quin Richardson led Scott county with 38 points including three three point baskets and 11 of 11 free throws.  Trent Gilbert added 21 points including four three point baskets.  Deonte Doss chipped in with 14 points and Jalen Haddix recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

Tearra Banks led Ballard with 26 points and 20 rebounds.  Drea Matchen added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Alex Martin chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Kayla Rankin led Perry County Central with 37 points and 11 rebounds.  Rankin was 11 of 18 from the field and 15 of 20 from the free throw line.  Whitney Back added 15 points including three three point baskets.

Bryan Station defeated Tates Creek by a score of 65-58.  This game was punctuated by a series of runs which began with Tates Creek opening the game with a 30-5 run and lead 31-10 at halftime.  Bryan Station then went on a 30-7 run in the third quarter to take a 40-38 lead at the end of three quarters.  Bryan Station outscored Tates Creek 25-20 in the final quarter to earn the victory. 

Bryan Station shot 51.1% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  Bryan Station shot a sizzling 69% (20 of 29) in the second half.  The Defenders connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 19 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 42% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 23 points.  Jordan Henry added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Tyler Smith chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.

Trinity defeated Lafayette by a score of 65-51 tonight.  Lafayette led 30-20 in the second quarter and 31-24 at halftime.  Trinity rallied in the third quarter and took a 42-41 lead late in the quarter.  Darryl Hicks was fouled on a three point attempt at the buzzer and connected on all three free throws to give Trinity a 45-41 lead after three quarters.  Trinity gradually pulled away in the final quarter to earn the victory.  The score was tied five times and there were four lead changes in the contest.

Trinity shot 40% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 20 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 39.5% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Trinity turnovers.  Lafayette attempted 17 less shots (60-43) from the field than Trinity.

James Quick led Trinity with 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Darryl Hicks added 17 points and Trey Ivory recorded 14 points including four three point baskets and four assists.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 11 points and 15 rebounds.  6-6 Sr. Charles Sweat-Washington added eight points and six rebounds.  Aaron Evans also added eight points.  Lance Blakely chipped in with seven points.  Nick Trisko also scored seven points and pulled down five rebounds.
