Scott county coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-1 Sr. Deonte Doss, 6-3 Jr. Dylan Portwood, 6-0 Jr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.  Holy Cross coach Erik Goetz countered with 6-4 Sr. Travis Gabbard, 6-1 Sr. Christian McClendon, 6-8 Sr. Antonio Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Blake Tiberi, and 6-0 Sr. Burt Pouncy.

Holy Cross defeated Scott County by a score of 60-47.  Holy Cross shot 42.9% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 19 of 26 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 32.3% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Holy Cross turnovers.

Antonio Campbell led Holy Cross with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Burt Pouncy added 16 points.  Travis Gabbard chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Blake Tiberi pulled down seven rebounds.

Quin Richardson led Scott County with 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Trent Gilbert added 10 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Deonte Doss also scored 10 points.

Holy Cross (60) – Gabbard 13, C. McClendon 5, Campbell 19, Tiberi 5, Pouncy 16, Knochelman 2.
