Jill likes Chris. Chris likes Jill. What's going on?
Sal's Notes - They're... I guess they were on 'friendly' terms, they act a little cooler towards each other now, just because they don't know where they stand. I guess theres some attraction, at least on Jill's side; although Simon is passionate and loyal, she thinks chris represents the reliabilty and stability that... I guess Jill is subconsciously looking for in a guy, cos of Ro. Chris has always had an underlying attraction to Jill, but isn't sure how to approach it.

Couple Rating: ****

Why: Well, if they could damn well get together it'd be a beautiful thing. If it weren't for Mack's meddling (see the Fight List below)and Jill occasionally straying back to Simon or her harem, it might happen. Might.

"Nympho Girl"
Just who is she? Chris was feeling down and slamming down drinks at a bar to drown out his anxieties (mostly Jill related) when he met a young socialite. That night they went home together and things got... messy.
Christian isn't one for casual sex with strangers, he admits it and drives back to her place to explain and get an explanation for his actions (yeah right!). Nothing went to plan; he didn't know how to play the game. The poor Welshman was confused because he was attached to the girl who considered him only good for a couple of nights. In the end, she ended their meager relationship by calling him and explaining that she was seeing someone else.

Why: An illicit romance with a civilian. This was highly forbidden and would lead to serious consequences for agents of the UN military forces. To top it all of, Christian wasn't used to having a relationship that was only based on sex. Nevertheless, Christian does feel some sort of affection for her and immediately reacts to it by proclaiming to be "in love" with her (which may or may not be true). When he does meet up with her fiance in a restaurant, Christian does the honorable thing and threatens to gut the man if he ever hurts her.
It's a relationship that was doomed from the start, but something that may have given Christian a new perspective on male-female relationships.

Raine Archer
She's one of Chris' closest friend. Relatively speaking, since Chris doesn't exactly have friends unless you count the ones you put up with him because otherwise Athena would rag on them. And unless Chris started kicking kittens and bullying orphans, they're just friends. They're not really as close, since Raine wouldn't be the first person he'd run to for advice or comfort, and vice versa. But they hang out, they joke and such. Maybe as the story goes on they'll be closer, and as they work together more they'll be able to rely on each other more.

Couple Rating: ***1/2

Why: They're a cute coupling, good for maybe a handful of stories, nothing more. The both of them are easy to get along with others. [ up ]

Fight List

Mack vs Christian:

- Mack makes fun of Christian's name and Welshmen, as well as call him a "Powderpuff Rider" (your guess is as good as mine).

- Mack invades Christian's dream and turns it into a living nightmare as Raine and Jill are treated to a flash of nekkid Chris when he steps out his door.

- Mack inadvertantly gets Jill to think that Chris swings the other way and is in love with him!

- Despite Mack's smarminess, he endears himself to a number of women while Chris is stuck with a nympho who dumps him in less than a week. [ up ]
