Journal 0011 - LAS VEGAS

Nothing much really. There were times when I spent the time idly scoping out cute guys.

But what kept me awake at night, longing for LA, was the fact that I was missing The Pretender, damnit!

The Pretender used to show on NBC but those jerks pulled it off. Now TNT shows reruns from Monday to Friday. So I watch it everyday, including on Saturday and Sunday when reruns are shown on the local tv station. Do I sound really obsessive?

I wasn't really always this way. I first watched The Pretender in Malaysia and was intrigued by this man pretending to be someone else, week after week. And I got sucked in.

When I moved to LA, I forgot about the Pretender. I think I saw it once in '99 and it was a crossover with Profiler (a show I abhored). Suffice to say, it didn't hold much interest for me.

Until I came across the show on TNT. I missed the movie in January (dang~!) but there were still reruns. Once again, I was sucked in.

So that was what I missed in Las Vegas. Oh and CSI.

And chatting with Sal.

I still hate Vegas, though.
