Dear Friends,
Life is about change. It's also about choices. We can choose to live in the rearview mirror - living based upon what we should have done, could have done, or wish we would have done. Or, we can live in the moment, take advantage of current opportunities, and plan for the future. There are those who live in the past and obsess over making up faults for how others have caused their problems. And, there are those who take accountability for their lives and in doing so are able to enjoy the positives that are in front of them rather than dwelling on the negatives that are behind them. It is an individual choice.
I, myself, have chosen a path of honesty and tolerance. I believe in the Golden Rule of doing unto others as you wish done to you. I have been judged in the legitimate press, in tabloids, and by jealous people in everyday life. I know first hand the pain of having lies told about me or to have my values judged and ridiculed, so I pride myself on rising above such individuals by maintaining a lifestyle of honesty and by not judging the life-choices of others. I hope my choices can help inspire others to live a life of honesty of justice.
As some of you know, I recently underwent surgery. Originally scheduled as a simple two hour procedure, I ended up being under the knife for over four hours. But thanks to the wonderful staff at the USC Orthopaedic Hospital, Dr. Taneja, and Dr. Gross, the operation was a success and I hope to be ready to begin filming my next project shortly. I would also like to thank all those fans from across the globe who sent their well wishes and included me in their prayers.
As for all those asking just what that next project will be, while I love the stage I feel it is time to concentrate more fully on the film and television aspect of my career. I have the good fortune of being attached as the star of a film and potential series titled HEROES that Michael Dorn of Star Trek fame is slated to direct. The Wonderful Lara Rosensteck of Independent Management Group is negotiating financing and we hope to have a deal set shortly. We'll be sure to keep you posted.
