Dear Fans,
All those thrust in the public eye must make a choice whether to embrace or ignore their status as a role model. I serve as the spokesperson for several charities and regularly donate my time to community organizations in between professional productions in an effort to share with others what I have learned over the course of my career. I make no claims to being perfect, but I have strived to use my modest notoriety to help others and to spread a sense of love and tolerance.
One of the reasons I have embraced a career in live theatre, in addition to my television and film appearances, is that I thrive on the personal contact of getting to meet and talk with the people who make my career possible - the audience. As an extension of this, my fan club has long featured a section where fans and critics alike are welcome to share their feedback regarding my performances and my civic efforts for such organizations as Season Of Concern, Equity Fights AIDS, and The Even Start Literacy Campaign.
Unfortunately a recent level of abuse to the purpose of that page necessitated its closure. I preach a message of love and professionalism and could not stand by and watch a site dedicated to me being used as a pulpit for hatred.
Due to the influx of requests by dedicated fans, my managment, fan club administrators, and I have decided to reopen our feedback page on a probationary basis. Posts unrelated to the purpose of this site have been removed by the page administrators - not for editorial discrimination but to maintain the focus of this site's intention.
It is my sincere hope that those visiting this site will continue to respect its place as a forum for freedom of speech pertaining to honest opinions and as a venue for preaching love and tolerance.
Always remember that I am your fan, for you make my career possible with your support and encouragement.
