Warm Cloth and Blinds Tag
Written and Created by Debbie "Debz" Coates

What you need for this tutorial:
I did this in PSP 7, but I'm sure you can do it in any version
Tubes of your choice
Cresent Moon - Warm Cloth Filter

STEP 1
Open a new transparent image 350 X 200. Choose a light color from one of your tubes. Click on your flood fill tool and fill with this color. Go to Effects > Plugins > Cresent Moon > Warm Cloth with the default settings. Lower the opacity of this layer to 60%.

STEP 2
Choose your tube you want to put on the right hand side of the tag. Ctrl + C to copy it, go to your tag and Ctrl + L to paste it as a new layer. Resize if necessary (don't forget to go to Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen if you do resize) and position it where you would like it. You may add a drop shadow if you like.

STEP 3
Choose your next tube to go on the left hand side of the tag. Ctrl + C to copy it, go to your tag and Ctrl + L to paste it as a new layer. Resize it if necessary and position it. Lower the opacity to 40%. You may add as many tubes as you like, lower the opacity of the other tubes to your choosing. Layers > Merge > Merge All flatten.

STEP 4
Choose a dark color that compliments the light color of the light color you chose in Step 1. Make sure it is set as your background color. Go to Image > Add Borders > Symmetric checked > 3.

STEP 5
Add a new raster layer. Choose your Preshapes tool, set to Rectangle, Antialias checked only, line width 2. Set your Foreground color to the color you just used for the border, background color off. Draw a rectangle about 166, 46.

This isn't a given! You can make this any size you really choose.

STEP 6
Take your magic wand and click in the middle of your rectangle. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with the light color you used in Step 1. Go to Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds with these settings:
Width ~ 1
Opacity ~ 39
Color ~ The dark color you chose for your border
Horizontal ~ checked
Light from left/top ~ checked
Selections > None. Lower the opacity of your blinds layer to 65%. Click the glass on your background layer to shut it off. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

STEP 7
Click the glasses on the background layer so you can see it. Now move the blinds block you just made over to the edge so that the left edge is blended with the border.

Layers > Merge > Merge All flatten.

And your finished! Watermark it and tag it the way you choose!

Here's a couple that I did!

Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
