Making Accents Out of Masks
Written and Created by Debbie "Debz" Coates

What you need for this tutorial:
1. PSP 7 (This was written using PSP 7, but I'm sure it can be modified for any version.)
2. A mask that you can make an accent out of 3. Super Blade Pro or any other filter of your choosing.

STEP 1
Open a new transparent image 200 X 200, flood fill with white if using SBP or another color if you're not.

STEP 2
Masks > Load from disk > find your mask. Make sure that when it's applied, your mask has transparent around the mask...Kinda of like this:

(the blue bg is for display purposes only) Delete your mask.

STEP 3
Take your magic wand, click on the your white or colored area. Selections > Modify > Select Similar.

STEP 4
Apply your favorite SBP preset. If you're not using SBP, apply the plugin of your choice, then add an inner bevel of your liking. (Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel). Selections > None.

STEP 5
Apply a drop shadow if you choose, or any other effects you would like to use.

And you're done...you have made your own accents :) Make sure you save them in .psp format.

That's it! Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
