Faux Netting Tag

What you need for this tutorial:
1. PSP 7 (This was written using PSP 7, but I'm sure it can be modified for any version.)
2. VM Distortion-Radial Pox
3. Super Blade Pro or Blade Pro
4. Any tube or tubes you want to use

STEP 1
Open a new transparent image 500X400.

STEP 2
Select your preset shapes tool, choose any shape from the top of the list (from elipse to star). Foreground and background both on and white. Antialias checked, line width 1. Draw your shape, size is not an issue, but making it too big might not work.

STEP 3
Use your magic wand to select your shape. Apply your favorite Blade Pro preset. I try to pick a preset that will either match or contrast with my tube I'm going to use. Selections > None.

STEP 4
Go to Effects > Plugins > Flaming Pear > Blade Pro. Go to your presets and find the preset you want to use. I'm using D_goldshimmer. Click ok, then ok on the main screen. Deselect. Go to Image > Rotate and rotate right or left, free 45. Now hold shift and hit the D key to make a copy, minimize it for now.

STEP 5
Effects > Plugins > VM Distortion > Radial Pox with these settings:
Frequency 245
Strength 166
Amplify 126
Finetuning 87
Ok.

STEP 6
Apply a drop shadow (Effects > 3D Effects > Drop shadow) with these settings:
Vertical & Horizontal 1
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Color Black

STEP 7
Add your tube or tubes and apply the same drop shadow. Merge Visible your layers.

STEP 8
Select your crop tool. In your tool options select Crop Settings, then Select opaque area - current layer. Double click on your image and it's cropped. Layers > Merge > Merge all (flatten)...and you're done!
Here's mine! :)

That's it! You can dress it up how you want. Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
